"Stay with me, please," said Lunara, her voice strained and tears in her eyes as she lightly slapped Sybil's face, hoping to bring her back to consciousness.
"There is nothing here!" declared Hanari from afar as she rummaged through the bag of potions, desperately looking for a poison nullification potion.
The rest of the Guardians said the same, their voices heavy — as if they already believed there was no saving her.
Lunara held Sybil's unconscious body tightly, as if they were sisters.
"No! No, Sybil, please don't leave me here. You're one of my Guardians. I can't lose you too…"
She began to cry and scream. The other two Guardians wept as well, while Hanari continued to dig through the supplies. Her eyes suddenly fixated on an empty bottle.
"First Lilith… then Mother… and now you— it's too much, so please just no…"
