Vel'XalvenoX stood across the ruined ground, posture cocky, his eyes flickering with hunger and chaos.
Only one figure faced him now—Menma.
No Skeleton King. No backup. He had seemingly disappeared.
Just Menma, a red gleam burning in one eye, the other narrowed, locked on XalvenoX with the kind of hatred only devils knew how to sharpen.
Vel'XalvenoX tilted his head.
"Where's the bag of bones?" he mocked, cracking his knuckles. Bone spines slithered across his arms like snakes, forming gauntlets.
Menma didn't answer. He simply rolled his neck once, the air around him crackling faintly with demonic pressure. The black veins under his skin pulsed, creeping up toward his jawline like roots searching for light.
"Gone already?" XalvenoX continued. "Nah, I know he won't abandon you?"
Still, Menma said nothing.
