Chapter 52 - Conspiracy

While speaking, Tian Ge sent her a string of website links on QQ.

Lingyin was amazed; there were various websites she had never heard of, such as forums, libraries, gardens, and communities.

However, not everything was unfamiliar. Among the mysterious codes, Lingyin saw something familiar: "Bilibili too?"

Tian Ge was slightly taken aback and scratched his head awkwardly: "It used to be there, but not anymore. Sorry, I forgot."

"…..."

Alright then.

"Um, Lingyin, I'm leaving now," Tian Ge stood up nervously, "You can take your time looking at these."

"Wait, what if I come across something I don't understand..."

"Ask the people on the forum; they know everything."

"Okay."

Tian Ge left, and Lingyin took her phone back to her dorm, lying on her bed and starting to look through them one by one.

The door to a new world had opened.

......

After a short nap in the afternoon, Bai Ningning woke up to find that her older sister was no longer at home.

"Aunt Zou," she asked a passing maid, "Where's Yueyue?"

"The young lady went to the company; she said there was a small matter."

"The company?"

Bai Ningning puffed up her cheeks, thinking, weren't they supposed to be on vacation during this time? Why did she go back to work?

At that moment, Qin Yue had already been at the Qin Group building for a while.

The vacation was only for a small portion of the senior management; others still had to maintain the normal operation of the company. So, Qin Yue's presence was not surprising, and she was very low-key, not giving any orders along the way, just calling someone to her office.

Li Yue, the manager of the market operations department, was a veteran of the company. Perhaps her abilities weren't the best, but she was definitely one of Qin Yue's most trusted people.

"President Qin."

"Come in," Qin Yue gestured to the sofa, "Have a seat."

Li Yue had worked at the company for over twenty years, starting during Qin Dad's era. When Qin Yue took over, she immediately stood by the new president. Not to mention her contributions, her loyalty was unquestionable.

So, Qin Yue could entrust this matter to her.

"Recently, there are no major projects in the company," Qin Yue said straightforwardly, "I plan to venture into a new industry and just give it a try."

Li Yue immediately sat up straight: "May I ask, President Qin, what kind of project?"

"Mobile games, specifically 2D mobile games," Qin Yue replied.

Li Yue was slightly taken aback: "President Qin, 2D mobile games are the domain of young people. I'm getting older and don't quite understand."

"That's fine; you don't need to understand. It's better if you don't."

Qin Yue pondered for a moment and said, "To be honest, my requirements are simple but a bit complex. First, the funding for this project will not go through the company accounts; it will come from my personal account."

Li Yue quickly took out paper and pen to start recording.

"Then, for this project, you will have another person in charge above you. What you need to do is delegate as much power to her as possible, but it must be discreet; don't make it too obvious."

Li Yue was a bit confused but obediently took notes.

"Also, regarding the funding, don't tell her the specific amount. Even if she asks, don't say anything; make up an excuse to brush it off," Qin Yue said thoughtfully, "Make her feel like it's not much."

Li Yue was increasingly perplexed.

"Finally, you must follow her instructions; you cannot go against them," Qin Yue said, "That's about it."

Li Yue finished taking notes, hesitated for a moment, and couldn't help but ask: "What if it goes wrong?"

"It would be better if it goes wrong," Qin Yue chuckled lightly, "I'm actually worried she won't mess it up."

Letting a girl who has never worked before take full responsibility has a high probability of failure.

Li Yue tried to guess: "President Qin, do you want her to owe you a lot of money? But if the costs are not accounted for and she can't pay it back..."

"I don't want her to pay me back," Qin Yue sneered, "At least, I don't want her to use money to repay."

At this point, she remembered something: "By the way, this person is currently my assistant and secretary, the one I registered a few days ago."

Assistant and secretary, a newcomer registered a few days ago... Right.

Li Yue suddenly had an epiphany and understood something.

A few days ago, in the WeChat group formed by several of the older employees, Manager Wang mentioned that President Qin had some good news.

Everyone asked what it was, and Manager Wang said that during a particularly busy time, President Qin often canceled morning meetings and rescheduled them for video calls in the afternoon. No one knew the reason, but he inadvertently discovered something.

Everyone eagerly asked what it was, and Manager Wang mysteriously said that one night, President Qin notified that the meeting for the next day was canceled. But the call was not from President Qin herself; it was from a cold, icy young girl's voice.

In the dead of night, helping President Qin take a leave of absence at the last minute—who could that be?

Everyone in the WeChat group was surprised to hear this; they didn't expect that the reason President Qin had no rumors for so many years was that she liked girls.

However, Manager Wang said that the girl's voice sounded particularly cold and unhappy, suggesting that perhaps President Qin hadn't won her over yet.

But no one believed it; how could that be? Since President Qin took over the company, there had been nothing she couldn't handle.

It really seems to be true now!

"President Qin," Li Yue said cautiously, "isn't it a bit inappropriate to pursue a girl this way?"

How can one make a girl feel bound to them because she owes them money?

Qin Yue glanced at her indifferently: "Have you ever pursued a girl?"

"Uh," Li Yue shook her head, "no."

"Then that's it. I've pursued a girl," Qin Yue looked out the window, her expression serious, "I pursued her, and the normal methods were completely useless, so I had to increase the intensity in this way."

Doctor Chen was right; she hadn't fully emerged from the shadows and had even tasted some sweetness.

"I understand," Li Yue put away her notebook and stood up, "I'll find time to contact Miss Bai Ningning."

An 18-year-old part-time president's secretary, registered in the company's HR, she had just checked.

......

With her big sister not at home, Bai Ningning was so happy that she quickly played some games that could only be played when her big sister was away.

Like CS:GO.

Why could she only play when Qin Yue wasn't home? Because she was using a 2.5 million yuan account that Qin Yue had reclaimed a few days ago. It had been unbanned from VAC, but it had a red lock and couldn't be traded.

Bai Ningning was afraid that seeing the account would remind her of her feelings, and thinking about the green tea things the original owner had done, she pressed it down.

Casually, she played a game, and the exclamations from teammates and opponents were endless.

"What the hell! What kind of rich person is this!"

"Brand new Miami!"

"This outfit must be worth seven figures, so rich, big boss."

Bai Ningning curled her lips slightly and sneered.

Rich? It was exchanged for ().

However, Bai Ningning was also a bit annoyed; everyone only cared about her gloves, guns, and butterfly knife, and no one noticed her agile movements, her precise stops, her elegant positioning, and her controlled shooting.

Sigh, how boring.

"The vast forest~~ a piece of rain falls~~ the sound that comes, pitter-patter~~~ is the raindrops embracing the stream, green..."

The phone rang.
