Jamie softly cried out as if she didn't know what would happen because of her little actions. She turned to look at Gloria and pouted heavily, "Come on, Glory. Did you really have to joke about something too serious with me? Clearly, Mia is fine. Look at this; she is shopping in M&M. Do you think she would dare to waste money if she had lost her job?"
Though she said those words with a smile, the truth was Jamie was filled with a poisonous rage. One that she wished to unleash on Mia; she had hoped and prayed for Mia's downfall for ages for the woman took away Henry's love for her. If Mia didn't exist, then Henry would have never moved on from her. He would have waited instead of marrying someone else and erasing her from his life.
It was through sheer dumb luck that she was able to get him back and Jamie knew that she couldn't lose him again. She wondered what it would take for Mia to leave their lives.
