Lucas's voice echoed in the silent store just as Aunt Shelby walked out of the office. Her red heels clicked on the floor as she took in the sight in front of her. She saw Mia with her hand cuffed behind her by the guards being dragged outside. The sight alone was embarrassing, much less for Mia, who was being treated in such a way.
"And what are you doing?" Aunt Shelby questioned as she looked at the guards who were escorting Mia out with a frown on her face. She asked, "Since when did we start treating our guests and customers in such a manner?"
When Jamie saw Lucas, she already had a feeling and it turned even worse when she saw Madam Shelby next to him. She didn't know that Lucas was here and that he knew Madam Shelby.
