Chapter 251 - Irene's Transformation, The First Parallel Universe!

The figure in the darkness was none other than Amatsu-Mikaboshi.

He had relied on Hercules' trust to attack him, then turned to strike Zeus.

Absorbing the opponents' divine power.

In the time that followed, he slew several lesser gods.

But it was still not enough.

He needed more cosmic god blood.

He needed more energy.

He was Amatsu-Mikaboshi, but also a God of Chaos—his dark consciousness awakening in secret.

Originally, he planned to remain hidden, wait for the perfect moment, and lead the gods into drunken stupor and death.

But the arrival of Aaron and the magic net shattered his scheme.

The gods, who had once been drunkenly resigned to death, began a new journey of struggle one by one.

For power, they fiercely competed—and made progress.

Especially the gods of Asgard—the power they displayed had surpassed even some Heavenly Fathers.

He knew he could no longer wait.

If he waited until all gods were connected to the magic net, it would be nearly impossible to act.

The magic net provided a path for the gods to increase their strength, making them harder to kill.

Moreover, when a god connected to the magic net died, it would also alert the magic god.

Amatsu-Mikaboshi had conducted his own experiment—personally connecting to the magic net to test its power.

He was horrified to discover the magic net did indeed have the capabilities the god of magic claimed—maybe even a bit more.

Therefore, he acted preemptively, targeting gods not yet connected to the magic net.

The gods of Olympus unlinked to the magic net became his primary targets.

After succeeding, he moved quickly to tie their hands and feet.

The greatest obstacle was Aaron.

As the creator of the magic net, Aaron was the biggest threat.

Amatsu-Mikaboshi considered killing Aaron's opponents to break the magic net's threat.

But as events unfolded, he realized defeating Aaron was impossible.

Aaron's strength far exceeded even Heavenly Father Jean.

The god of magic had power enough to destroy entire Galaxies.

Even after absorbing most of the gods of Hercules and Zeus, Amatsu-Mikaboshi could not reach that level.

So, he had to become stronger, kill more gods, and further awaken his original Chaos power to become the king of nothingness.

But unless Aaron was eliminated, he had no chance.

To avoid suspicion, he proactively contacted believers, absorbing their energy—better than nothing—to erase doubts.

Yet, he was unhappy with this slow progress and frustrated at Aaron's cheapening influence.

Every time he tried to come to Earth, he hesitated, wandering outside the solar system, unwilling to enter.

Today, he tried again.

But still hesitated.

Then came the encounter of the highest evolution.

Now, he was even more afraid to step into the Nine Realms—he absolutely dared not enter Earth.

If he found trouble with Aaron, he would die!

But if he did not eliminate the god of magic, how could he deal with the gods?

"Damn it, why did you have to show up?"

Since Aaron appeared from nowhere, many careerists had been struck hard.

His existence became the pinnacle of status.

Whether the real universe was chaotic or not depended on Aaron's word.

Unable to absorb divine power freely or destroy wildly, his strength couldn't improve—fighting Aaron was nonsense.

There were too few gods not connected to the magic net.

Except the limited Heavenly Father Gods.

But sneaking up on them was very difficult.

To avoid exposure, Amatsu-Mikaboshi dared not attempt another assassination on Zeus.

Since he couldn't proceed, he could only keep avoiding the god of magic.

How to avoid him?

After much deliberation, he settled on a single solution—

Travel to the wider universe!

This coincided with Zola's idea.

"If I can't beat you, then I'll escape."

Unlike Zola, Amatsu-Mikaboshi's awakened dark consciousness made traveling through parallel universes less difficult.

But it required a huge amount of energy.

And a little magic.

Though frustrating, Amatsu-Mikaboshi had no choice.

He silently swore—

After gaining more powerful strength and awakening the full power and responsibility of dark Chaos, he would double the humiliation he had suffered!

No—

He would bring death to the god of magic!

Reduce all to nothingness.

And become the sole ruler of nothingness, the supreme god of darkness!

Meanwhile, on Earth—

The place from which Amatsu-Mikaboshi watched from afar—

Aaron's magic enlightenment teacher arrived.

Worry filled her eyes.

She recounted the news of gods being attacked by mysterious beings.

Aaron listened patiently, showing no impatience.

As his first magic teacher, Irene held a special place in his heart.

Although any magic teacher could have brought him this far, Irene was the original magician who taught him his craft.

Even if, in the future, he could travel through time and space and unify all realities, these were unchangeable facts.

At some unknown point, their relationship had shifted.

Probably back when they returned to Asgard for the Ley overhaul.

Irene's gaze on him went beyond a teacher looking at a disciple—she saw him more as a powerful, reliable, majestic, and trustworthy male god.

While the transformation was somewhat bizarre, Aaron did not resist it.

Teacher-student love wasn't absent.

Had his life level not been raised, perhaps another magic teacher, Amora, would be wandering about with a big belly.

Even if Aaron wanted to stop it, it would be difficult.

He had fulfilled Irene's dream—bringing the magicians to the top of the world stage.

The magicians of the God's Domain were no longer mere support staff—they were the absolute main force of the Protoss.

Even in the Nine Realms, and across the entire universe, the status of magicians had been infinitely elevated.

It was no surprise Irene had changed so strangely.

Although Irene was a bit "old"—thousands of years old—compared to ordinary Asgardians, this was the prime of life.

If one became a true god in the future, what did age matter?

With infinite lifespan, thousands of years were but a blink.

"We still don't know who is targeting the gods, causing their panic. To identify enemies in the dark, the gods established the God Squad."

"Led by Thor, the hero who defeated the god-slayer Geer and now king of Asgard, various gods have recommended suitable candidates."

"The God Squad's mission is to deal with threats to the gods—god-slayers, evil races, evil gods of the universe—to find and eliminate crises and restore peace to the universe."

"But be careful before finding the enemy!"

"The future of magic depends entirely on you!"

Irene did not hide her concern.

Her visit this time was primarily to relay the gods' plans and test Aaron's thoughts, and secondly out of worry.

Even though she knew Aaron's strength far surpassed her and even the gods, she remained concerned.

In case something happened to Aaron.

The gods had sent her because she was the most suitable.

Thor had become king, leading the newly established God Squad to search for suspicious targets everywhere—his tasks were heavy.

He was no longer fit to act as Aaron's messenger.

So the responsibility fell to Irene.

Aaron nodded in understanding.

He soon thought—if it was Amatsu-Mikaboshi causing this crisis, then Irene might be in danger as well.

After consideration, he proposed she stay.

Let Irene remain on Earth temporarily.

This was his territory.

Even if an enemy lurked in the shadows, once he made a move, he would know it.

And with Wanda Dark Phoenix and others present, ordinary crises could be suppressed without his intervention.

Amatsu-Mikaboshi was currently absolutely unstoppable.

When Aaron said he wanted Irene to stay, she was excited.

But, out of reserve, she was reluctant.

However, she thought of Amora.

"Yes! I stay here to watch over Amora—not for any other reason."

Irene decided, and lived on Earth.

Before that, she called another god to relay the message.

When the gods learned Irene would stay on Earth, they exchanged blank, dismayed looks.

Goodness, it seemed they would need to find a new envoy again—it was so difficult!

Few candidates were suitable.

And, for some reason, they felt extremely jealous that Irene would stay on Earth with the god of magic.

Everyone knew what that implied.

Power, security, status… all at her fingertips.

If possible, they'd want to replace Irene.

After all, the enemies lurking in the dark remained unknown.

They could not act even a day without dealing with the crisis.

But Earth was different.

It was definitely the safest place in the universe.

The god of magic was so powerful, he knew almost everything!

Beings without eyes, like Supreme Evolution, were rare.

Because of Aaron, the dimensional universe had fallen out of order.

It was a pity these gods had neither the opportunity nor the qualifications.

They could only risk their lives to seek stronger forces.

While the gods envied,

The tentacles of the magic net spread deeper into other universes, as if taking root and growing vigorously.

It did not take long before Aaron revolutionized the magic net again.

The current magic net could already automatically create contracts and sign the lives of beings in other universes.

The premise: there must be a magic net in that universe.

This required opportunity—something not everyone had.

Ordinary people had little chance to contact the magic net.

Only original protagonists of their universe could discover and contract the magic net without apostle influence, and thus obtain the god of magic's favor.

Not long after this innovation,

The first lucky one appeared.

His name was Ash.

He lived in a universe without superheroes.

But he came to a world with superheroes.

Watching two strange men in tights fighting before him, he felt curious—even entertained the idea of rushing in to join.

But then, an old scavenger woman possessed by a demon appeared behind him.

"Ash, we have seen the future. The world is about to end."

"And the Army of Death is about to rise!"

"Unfortunately, there is no magic net in this world. God of magic, what awaits you is infinite destruction!"
