The hat wouldn't budge. After Remi had pulled his spiky witch hat over Felix's head, no matter how hard he pulled and tugged on it, Felix couldn't push it back up, not even by half an inch. It was stuck deeply on his head, covering his eyes, as if it had been set with super glue.
Eventually, Felix gave up struggling. At least the hat was enchanted to make it transparent from the inside, so that it didn't obstruct his view. Instead of continuing his pointless fight with the magical witch hat, he focused on what was going on around him.
There were two foxes in the room with him. One, of course, was Remi, who was standing in front of Felix in his human form, blocking most of his view with his tall, well-built frame. Felix had to tilt to the side to peek from behind his back and see the intruder.
