Chapter 146 - Pregnant snake(146)

Morning.

Gabriel stepped into the royal courtyard, his coat half-on, eyes half-open, and mental capacity running at 2%. He had just managed to get dressed without collapsing. Between the kingdom's affairs, his demon-spawn toddler with enough firepower to obliterate minor nations, and now—

Two pregnant wives.

He needed coffee. Or a tranquilizer dart to the neck. Either worked.

That's when he heard it:

"Tsk-tsk."

His eye twitched.

Sun-Sun was lounging under a parasol, dressed in a flowing robe that hugged her growing bump just enough to make her look divine and smug as hell. A long straw poked out of a coconut drink she probably didn't need at 9 AM.

Her smile was sin incarnate. It was as if she wanted to tempt him—every hour of the day. Well, not like he minded.

"My, my... poor Gabriel. Two for two, already? And here I thought you'd pace yourself like a proper king." She flicked a lock of her silvery hair behind her shoulder. "Turns out you're just a breeder with a God complex."

Gabriel stopped walking.

"It was a lap pillow. A lap pillow. How did we get from head pats to pregnancy?" he said with a deadpan look.

"I could draw you a diagram, sweetheart." She didn't even blink. Also, where the fuck did this whiteboard come from?

"I should've known you'd be the first to make it weird," he said, exhaling a bit. His wife was a hassle to deal with.

"Oh, darling." She stood, gliding toward him with that slow, teasing grace only she could manage. Her bump was small still—barely a few weeks—but her spiritual pressure glowed with that familiar, vibrant life.

"I'm already carrying your child," she whispered, running a finger down his chest. "So now I get to tease you as much as I want. It's part of the contract."

"There was no contract."

"There was moaning, and that's legally binding in our dimension."

Since when did moaning include a contract? Did that mean he had a contract with five women? How many contracts did he have with Sun-Sun and Harribel? Those two were the only ones he knew for certain had reached triple digits in terms of sleeping with him.

Everyone else was mostly in the double digits, with Nel being the only one still in single digits—like at 9 right now.

For the other two, currently Mila Rose should have like 10-ish more than Apacci, but if it's only in terms of moaning, then Apacci took second place.

Gabriel then realized the kind of shit he was thinking. Nope. He shall not entertain her ideas.

He grunted, turning to walk away—but she looped an arm around his neck from behind and purred:

"...So, who's next? Apacci? Mila Rose? Or are we doubling back to Harribel? I mean, since you're on a roll—"

"You're insufferable," Gabriel muttered.

"And you love it." She grinned, brushing a kiss against his jaw. "Besides... I wouldn't tease if I didn't want more."

He paused.

She stepped back, eyes glittering like moonlight reflecting off a knife.

"I mean it," she added, quieter this time. "I don't just want to carry your child. I want all of this. The nights. The mornings. The chaos. The warmth."

Gabriel turned to look at her properly now, crimson eyes softer.

"...You already have it."

Sun-Sun flushed ever so slightly—then smirked to cover it up.

"Oh no. You're going to make me cry, and then I'll get hormonal and want to jump you again."

He raised an eyebrow. "...Is that a threat?"

She smiled wickedly.

"A promise."

"I will be sure to make sure you keep that promise." His voice was quite gentle. Sun-Sun smiled a bit at that.

If she wasn't pregnant right now, chances were high she would be bouncing on it. However, Gabriel was quite caring for his concubine when she was pregnant—didn't want anything to happen to the child.

So unfortunately, for the next 12 months, she wouldn't be able to ride it. And for those wondering why 12 months instead of 9—especially since Harribel had the usual 9 months...

Well, simple. Sun-Sun's Reiatsu reserves were not as big as Harribel's. To be more exact, the gremlin in her stomach required a shit-ton of energy to be fully formed. And Gabriel, not wanting her to be crippled when she gave birth, decided to slow down its speed so the baby could get plenty of time to grow in her stomach without turning her into a dry leaf.

How thoughtful of him. Though she was a bit mad at herself. If she were stronger—speaking mid-tier to high-tier Sin level (High Captain, like Gin, to Peak Captain level, like Aizen)...

Yes, it required that much energy. Who could've thought the child of such a powerful Hollow would require a powerful female warrior to carry it without the threat of dying?

Or Gabriel having to place a seal to accommodate the child. If he did it with a human and got that human pregnant, either they stayed pregnant for a solid 20 years, or he had to nerf the child's power for a bit—a long, long while—sealing off all of its access to his power and all. Only then could it be born. And even then, there was a chance the mother could die.
