Jun Lei gave it one chicken thigh. General Big Yellow looked into the bowl and looked at Ju Lei again.
It barked once. "Are you trying to send a stray dog away?"
Jun Lei had no idea what the dog meant by barking but Jun Jie was sure that it was saying one chicken thigh was not enough. He added a wing and General Big Yellow stretched his head to look at the three boxes of deep fried chicken.
The dog barked again, sharing its dissatisfaction. Three boxes and only two pieces had been given to him! Did they think he could not count?
Jingzhe took one entire box and dumped eight more pieces of chicken in the bowl. General Big Yellow's tail started wagging in excitement and he barked in a more gentle way.
As he trotted away to enjoy his third dinner meal of the night, he did not forget to glare at Jun Lei and Jun Jie. Those two were really not sensible humans.
"Did a dog just roll its eyes at me?" Jun Lei huffed in shock.
Jun Jie scoffed, "I think it looked down on us."
