The moment she heard him leave, her eyes flew open, and she rose from the bed, stepping out of her room as fast as she could, but he was already gone. She moved around everywhere on her bare legs, even running at some point as her heart raced like never before in fear. She searched everywhere for him—even down to his office—but it was like he vanished the moment he stepped out.
The girl slowly began to lose her mind when he was far from her reach. His rich scent and everything about him… slipping from her with each labored breath she took, running endlessly down several corridors—at some point, she seemed lost and would fight to return to where she started looking for him.
Where she realized she might lose him now forever or never get to see that gorgeous face of his again.
