A couple more days passed by and soon, James got ready to leave for the academy.
His sisters fussed at him over every small detail; he hadn't packed his bags yet and they tried to send him off with a mountain of bags.
"Why do I need these many clothes!? Uniforms are provided by the academy, are they not!?"
James threw his arms up in the air in exasperation.
Madeline stood her ground.
"You're a noble! There are formal parties for the affluent circle of students all the time, do you want to be made fun of!?"
"I don't care about those stupid parties, I'm going there to learn, not be eye candy for a year!"
Madeline stomped out of his room while Clara snickered.
"Oooouu.. you made her angry brother." Clara teased.
James sighed heavily and slumped in a chair.
"Well we've been going in circles for an hour… there is no need to be this over prepared."
Gwendolyn's voice came from his left.
"She's just worried.. but it is.. a little much."
