His eyes lifted to meet mine, confusion flickering across his features. I knew it...right there. That stunned, slightly defensive look.
"What are you even saying, Alfie?" Zane asked, swallowing hard as he shifted in his chair. "It's not wrong to ask after someone if I notice something strange going on."
Damn it. Why does he have to look that cute even when he's irritated?
He's not even in full heat yet, and already he's tempting me....his scent soft but dangerously intoxicating. If just being near him now is this overwhelming, how will I cope once his scent turns wild?
Can I really control myself if I bring him to my personal villa?

Because if he's with me, That's when I can keep him safe. I know how insane my brothers get around a heat-scented Omega. I've seen what happens when Alphas lose control. I remember the academy. I remember what happened to an omega in heat and I swore it would never happen again.
