Jason spoke up.
"When you were telling me about what happened, you said you only came through the Dimensional Tear by accident, right? Does that mean you were going somewhere else?"
Riyala nodded in confirmation. She had been planning to go to another region in Radagan before opening a Dimensional Tear, but if she hadn't opened that Dimensional Tear as soon as she did, then the Dragonriders would have gotten to her and taken her back.
"My father and mother… they died so that I could make it out of that world. I sacrificed my wyvern and my best friend just so I could survive. No matter what happened, I couldn't stain their memories by allowing myself to be captured and taken back. I had to survive no matter what. So I'd like to thank you once again for what you did. If not for your kindness, then my life would have been truly forfeit."
