The following day, I explored the academy while also searching for my classes so that I won't get lost. The school is humungous. Wherever I go, I would feel countless Runes everywhere the academy, making the school feel safe yet like a jail.
From what I heard from Banther while we were at the frontlines, the Galactic Imperial Academy was founded since thousands of centuries ago. The one who created the academy was the Hero of the Universe, three weeks after he defeated the first six Grand Masters at his era.
The Grand Masters agreed to the creation of the Galactic Imperial Academy, thus the existence of this school.
Even though this building has been founded thousands of centuries, it still looks brand new thanks to the constant care for the academy. This academy serves to hone zolgarian's Force Core by teaching them the knowledge which the Hero shared to the whole universe, while at the same time, giving birth to a powerful Guardian that would be the next candidate for the title of Hero of the Universe.
At first, everyone back then used to be so hyped achieving the title of Hero. But as generations passed by, sadly, the hype of being bestowed Hero of the Universe died. Even though it is no longer a buzz, the academy still kept the reward open.
But enough with history.
The exterior of this school is made of walnut bricks, and it was built like a fortress. The school is surrounded by iron fences with sharp, pointing blades on top. It may look ordinary school with a simple and weak defense, but the exterior of the academy has countless differing Runes that whoever tries to sneak in, they'll be annihilated in an instant. The Runes are hidden from the public's eyes, and only those that have Rune Mastery Level 4 or 5 could feel and see the countless Runes being activate yet perfectly hidden to the outside world.
There is only one entrance, yet it is wide enough for thousands of students to walk in the pavement at the same time without bumping into each other. Of course, there were countless family flags with their insignia displayed on the walls for the students to see.
The exterior looks smaller, but the interior tells a different story.
From the outside, the school looks like old and ancient building, but the inside of the academy looks brand new and has a modern-like appearance. The floors were made of porcelain marble with a mix of black, gray, and silver colors in the tiles that looked almost identical to a cloud. Meanwhile, the walls were made of pure white with golden lines on top and bottom edges. The design is simple, yet it is enough to give an amazing impression for the first-year students.
Schools from Earth felt more like a prison, but this academy made all students relax and be at peace, defeating their home sickness and anxiety of being alone now that they were away from their parents.
