"Ugh." Ether groaned the second she woke up. Silas, who had sat her by the wall, took a quick glance in her direction before returning to his business, "What am I even looking for?"
"Mm, Tch." Ether heaved as her lashes fluttered and she opened her eyes. She looked at her surroundings then shifted her gaze to Silas, wearing a cold frown, "Did I finish it off?"
"Oh, of course you did." Silas replied without even turning to look at her, sweeping his palm across the wall. He paused the second he reached the framed photo hung on the wall.
"I'm glad." She sighed in relief, standing up to her feet with the walls as support. After she'd stood to her feet, Ether looked from left to right, "Are we out of that weird shithole?"
"Language." Silas rolled his eyes as he arched his hand and pressed into the wall with his fingers. His fingers dug deep, too deep for what he guessed was probably a wallpaper.
