Mia looked at Riven. There was a slight look of disbelief on her face, but she understood that everyone had their secrets, so she didn't dig.
"Since you'll be serving me for a week, let's head into the capital tomorrow. I've wanted to take a look around, but I haven't gotten a chance to," Riven said.
"Only you and I?" she asked.
"Yeah," he said. He rolled from the bed and landed on his two feet. He stretched a bit and looked at her.
"You can refuse if you don't want to. I can't force you," he said.
"There's no need for that. I have to follow your orders for a week," she responded.
"Then that's fine. I'm heading back to my room. I think I've rested enough," Riven said. He left the infirmary after checking in with Ariel. She confirmed that he was good to go and allowed him.
