Chapter 83 - Chapter 083: Damn Fishmen, Just Die Already!

Cocoyasi Village, Arlong Park.

Nojiko's eyes widened in shock, her lips parting slightly as she processed Nami's words.

"A… a hundred million bounty?!"

Coming from the East Blue, she had never even heard of such an astronomical number. To her, Arlong—with his 20 million berry bounty—was already an unstoppable monster.

But 100 million?

That was unfathomable.

Nami nodded firmly, her voice brimming with confidence.

"You heard right."

"You have no idea how strong they are. Just a few days ago, they wiped out an entire pirate fleet without Chris even lifting a finger."

"If he had stepped in, none of them would have escaped alive."

"So don't worry. Arlong and his crew are already dead. They just don't know it yet."

Kalina smirked, twirling a lock of hair around her finger. "Sis, if you don't believe Nami, at least trust us, right?"

"Do we look like we're joking?"

Monet giggled, floating midair. "If you don't believe it, let's go see for ourselves~"

Sweetheart Queen adjusted her hat, smiling. "Chris gave the order. They won't hold back."

"If we don't hurry, we'll miss the show!"

Bege exhaled a cloud of smoke, unfazed. "Let's go. I'm curious what these fishmen even look like."

Reiju and Baccarat exchanged glances.

"I've never seen a fishman before," Baccarat mused. "This should be… interesting."

Nojiko, however, still hesitated.

What if they lose?

If they failed, the villagers would suffer even more.

"Nami… I just…"

Nami grabbed her sister's hand, her grip firm.

"Trust me."

"I wouldn't have brought them here if I wasn't absolutely sure."

Nojiko sighed.

"...Fine. Let's go."

Arlong Park.

Inside the lavish compound, the fishmen lounged lazily—some sunbathing, others drinking, completely at ease.

Arlong leaned back in his chair, swirling a glass of wine with a smug grin.

"Ahhh… life's good."

"Much better than Fishman Island, don't you think?"

Kuroobi nodded, arms crossed. "No restrictions here. Humans are weak, obedient… perfect slaves."

Chew stretched out on the ground, basking in the sun. "Mmm~ I love this place~"

"Beating up villagers whenever we want… so fun~"

Pisaro strummed his shamisen, chuckling. "Inspiration flows freely here. The screams make for great music!"

Then—

BOOM!

The gates shattered.

Burgess stepped through, cracking his knuckles with a wild grin.

"So these are the fishmen? Pathetic."

Doc Q smirked from atop Stronger. "Perfect test subjects~ I wonder how long they'll last against my plagues~"

Law didn't bother speaking. He simply raised Kikoku.

Gin's eyes locked onto Kuroobi.

"That one's mine."

Lafitte twirled his cane. "Three minutes. Make it quick."

Hawkins flipped a card, his voice eerily calm.

"Their fates were sealed the moment we stepped onto this island."

The fishmen finally noticed the intruders.

Arlong's grin vanished.

"WHO THE HELL ARE—"

CRASH!

Before he could finish, the slaughter began.

Outside Arlong Park.

The sounds of battle—shattering wood, collapsing walls, and agonized screams—echoed through Cocoyasi Village.

Sweetheart Queen smirked. "Sounds like it'll be over in under three minutes."

Bege exhaled smoke. "Try one."

"The North Blue pirate fleet didn't even last that long."

Nami's eyes shone with exhilaration.

"Listen, Nojiko!"

She laughed, unrestrained.

"That's the sound of fishmen DYING!"

All the years of oppression, the pain, the loss—finally avenged.

Nojiko's breath hitched.

For the first time in years…

Hope flickered in her heart.

To Be Continued.
