Soul Land—Chapter 83: The Magical Use of illusion-breaking Eyes, part 2

A few days later, night fell.

Zhu Zhuqing had fallen asleep beside Ling Qianyao, and the moonlight shone softly through the window lattice into the room.

Ling Qianyao tilted his head and quietly looked at Zhu Zhuqing's sleeping face. He gently stretched out his hand, and his fingertips brushed across her eyebrows and nose, finally stopping at her lips.

Subconsciously, his gaze drifted downward, where her proud, towering figure caught his eye.

'After the martial soul evolved, Zhuqing seems to grow faster,' Ling Qianyao blinked. 'I don't care much about myself; it's mainly for the future children.'

He reached out and pulled the quilt on the other side of Zhu Zhuqing, tucking the corners around her. Then, his eyes fell on the seedling of the Blue Silver Empress placed on the bedside table.

Dots of starlight flickered faintly around her.

"It's strange," he murmured. "The Star Luo Holy Pearl can gather the power of stars between heaven and earth, and this star power can also nourish other spiritual plants.

The immortal herbs associated with it have more or less received its favor.

After transforming into the star vortex within my body, I didn't expect this to lead to the current situation."

After the sacrifice, the Blue Silver Empress Ah Yin, who had turned into a seed, seemed to have lost self-awareness. At least, in Ling Qianyao's view at this moment, Ah Yin is now a completely new entity.

Of course, it's also possible that the star power was poured in too vigorously, causing Ah Yin's shape to blur slightly and turn into Ling Qianyao's appearance.

Now, Ah Yin appears to regard Ling Qianyao as her closest support, and he can feel her emotions and thoughts.

"Why does the star pattern on her forehead feel so strange?" he wondered. "It can't be some kind of mark."

He picked it up from the bedside table and held it in his palm.

An inexplicable feeling of attachment and joy washed over him.

"Closer."

The branches and leaves of the Blue Silver Empress extended. In the days of recovery, her branches and leaves had grown larger and more numerous. Gently, they climbed onto Ling Qianyao's arm.

One leaf even quietly reached his cheek. After a gentle touch, it quickly shrank back, as if shy.

Ling Qianyao couldn't help but smile. What exactly is the expectation she just conveyed?

Shaking his head, he began to feed her as usual. The star power quietly infused into her body until she was full and could eat no more.

"Hmm?"

Ling Qianyao blinked. After today's feeding, the golden lines on the Blue Silver Empress's body were not only brighter but also seemed to flow slowly, like a living entity.

He instinctively began to use his illusion-breaking eyes. As the starlight flowed, he saw through the illusion before him and glimpsed Ah Yin's soul body.

Compared to her previous form—when she closed her eyes and curled up—Ah Yin had begun to stretch her body at this moment.

Her slender, white jade legs gradually straightened, and her curvaceous, graceful body was fully revealed before Ling Qianyao.

The aura emanating from her was even more refined than Zhu Zhuqing, and her mature, beautiful presence was beyond comparison.

She still didn't open her eyes, but the gentle, alluring breath she exuded seemed to quietly touch Ling Qianyao's heartstrings, as if under some invisible magic.

"Hmm."

She appeared a little confused; her spirit body trembled slightly as if trying to adapt to this new state of existence.

Ah Yin, who had just woken up, resembled a newborn baby—full of curiosity and confusion about the world. Without opening her eyes, she instinctively searched for Ling Qianyao's location, and the familiar aura made her feel at ease.

She flew to his side and quietly lay down, resting her head on his chest.

Meanwhile, the branches of the Blue Silver Empress moved again. The branch that had retreated after touching Ling Qianyao's cheek, along with several new ones, climbed onto his chest, gently caressing him to express their closeness.

However, Ah Yin's soul body cannot be seen from the outside, making Ling Qianyao's current situation somewhat strange.

'Well, this time, it's Tang San's Mother's Entanglement,' he thought.

Looking at Ah Yin sleeping peacefully beside him, Ling Qianyao felt moved. He wanted to explore her current state more deeply.

The connection between them came from the fusion of star power and life energy. Once Ling Qianyao's star cave—symbolizing the Purple Star Palace—lit up, the illusion-breaking eyes he could see Ah Yin's more authentic soul state.

The flickering starlight in Ling Qianyao's eyes intensified as his spiritual power gathered, and he cast his gaze on Ah Yin.

The scene before him gradually changed as he focused his mind.

Most of what had nothing to do with Ah Yin's origin was discarded by Ling Qianyao, leaving only her graceful figure and beautiful face in his perception.

Suddenly, the scene shifted—the blue-gold court dress disappeared. What now caught his eye was only her full, white, tender body, exposed before him.

"Uh," his pupils widened slightly.

Whether it was her stunning face, her pride, her slender waist, or her beautiful figure—all of it was fully in his view.

This sight stunned him for about two and a half minutes.

Finally, it was because Ah Yin, vaguely aware of Ling Qianyao's inner emotional fluctuations, subconsciously placed one arm over her chest and the other jade arm gently covering her abdomen, that Ling Qianyao's consciousness was pulled back.

"Hu—"

Ling Qianyao exhaled slowly. Although Ah Yin's actions awakened him, he still felt that she looked more...

After taking a last look at her perfect body, Ling Qianyao stopped the use of Illusions Breaking Eyes and carefully restored the Blue Silver Empress.

His body's reaction made him smile bitterly. Is this the power of the Illusions Breaking Eyes? Peeping at the spirit's body...

He closed his eyes and silently recited the meditation mantra in his heart, trying to calm his mind. But unfortunately, the scene from earlier lingered in his mind, difficult to dispel.

Some images even seemed harder to forget.

He opened his eyes, a trace of helplessness flickering across his face. Sometimes, being in good health is so painful: the blood and qi are strong, and once yang energy is aroused, it's difficult to dissipate naturally.

But there was good news: Ling Qianyao could be sure that Ah Yin was indeed in a compromised state. Her memories and consciousness seemed to have sunk, leaving only instinct and her gentle personality.

As he pondered, a whisper reached his ear: "Qianyao, do you need help?"

Ling Qianyao was startled and turned back, only to see Zhu Zhuqing awake, with a cunning look in her eyes.

"What's wrong with you?"

"Your heartbeat is fast, Qianyao," Zhu Zhuqing said with a slight smile, her eyes already filled with affection.

She raised her head slightly, kissed Ling Qianyao on the lips, then buried herself in the quilt.

"Hiss—"
