Since Charmander had decided to pursue a powerful solo strategy, the most suitable team structure for it would be as the Fire-type cornerstone of a Sunny Day team, which meant it must also learn Solar Beam.

The dual attack range of Grass and Fire moves, combined with a sufficiently high Special Attack stat, would be enough to threaten many Pokémon.

After finalizing all the training plans, Jacob began training each Pokémon strictly according to schedule, while also researching various TMs.

Currently, Jacob's priorities were teaching Noibat the Taunt move and Grovyle Swords Dance. As for Charmander's Solar Beam, there was no rush, since Charmander couldn't learn it until evolving into Charizard.

...

The morning's training passed quickly. After Charmander's training plan changed, the physical training time in the morning was shortened with all focus shifted to Special Attack training.

During lunch, Julia was sitting at the same table with Jacob, chattering non-stop. She had been battling with Jacob recently. After Milotic learned Safeguard, it had become very difficult for Jacob's Grovyle to defeat it.

"Jacob, what did you do over the weekend?" Julia asked curiously, resting her chin on her hands while looking at him.

Jacob was drowsy with dark circles under his eyes. After hearing Julia's question, he could only make up an excuse: "I had something to do over the weekend and didn't sleep well."

After saying that, Jacob couldn't help but yawn. He had gotten too little sleep last night. Even if he was as tough as steel, he couldn't handle staying up late like this.

"Then you should go to bed early," Julia suggested, noticing that Jacob was genuinely tired.

After lunch, Jacob returned to his room and looked up the prices for the Taunt and Swords Dance TMs.

Fortunately, Taunt only cost 800,000 Pokédollars! This price was nearly three times that of Water Pulse. These powerful status-changing moves were ridiculously expensive.

But that wasn't the most shocking part. The most outrageous thing was the Swords Dance TM. It couldn't even be purchased directly. The lowest transaction price in the past month was 1.5 million, with the average price being over 2 million.

Jacob was speechless. These people were truly wealthy. How could a Swords Dance TM be so expensive? Then again, considering it was the premier physical attack enhancement move, 2 million wasn't unreasonable.

However, for Jacob, 2 million was an enormous sum. As the saying goes, having money doesn't necessarily make you a good trainer, but having no money will definitely prevent you from being one.

After checking the prices, Jacob's plan for purchasing TMs had to be put on hold temporarily. He also took a rare break, napping for an hour before continuing training in the afternoon.

...

Time passed quickly, and it was Friday in the blink of an eye. These days, Jacob had maintained his special training regimen daily and adjusted his rest schedule accordingly.

Jacob, who was taking an energy training class, suddenly received a call from Maximus, informing him that Dreepy was about to hatch and asking him to hurry to the hatching room.

Jacob quickly recalled his three Pokémon and rushed to the incubation room, where he found Maximus and Nina already waiting.

"You made it just in time. Any later and you might have missed it," Maximus said kindly.

Nina merely nodded to Jacob. Ever since returning from their journey together the previous week, she and Jacob had maintained a cold, distant relationship when others were around.

Only when they went to the restricted area each night would Nina instruct him seriously and professionally, returning to her familiar demeanor. This confused Jacob somewhat. "We're not some underground organization, why do we need to be so secretive?" he wondered.

After briefly greeting Maximus and his daughter, Jacob immediately focused his attention on the Pokémon egg.

He observed that the Dreepy egg had begun to shake slightly, with fine cracks appearing on the shell. If Jacob had been a little later, Dreepy would probably have already hatched.

Jacob released his three Pokémon. This time, he wanted all three to witness Dreepy's hatching process to strengthen the bonds between them.

"Crack!"

The eggshell broke, and a silly-looking Dreepy crawled out from the opening.

[Pokémon Egg]

Dreepy[Shiny]

Gender: Male

Types: Dragon, Ghost

Qualification: Champion level

Ability: Infiltrator

Moves: Astonish, Dragon Tail, Double Team, Confuse Ray, Hex, Bite, Thunder Wave, Scary Face, and Infestation.

...

"A Shiny pseudo-legendary Pokémon? That's quite rare!" Maximus looked at the golden Dreepy with surprise in his eyes, then turned to Jacob. "Take good care of the little one and remember to train him well. Most importantly, before your Dreepy evolves, don't show it to anyone, and don't leave the secret realm alone."

As Maximus gazed at the Shiny Dreepy, a hint of envy flashed across his mind. Even someone of his caliber would still be attracted to a Shiny pseudo-legendary Pokémon.

But Maximus's envy was fleeting. After accepting Jacob as his disciple, he regarded him as his true successor. As a mentor, it would be unthinkable for him to keep this rare Pokémon for himself.

Nina also looked at the Dreepy in surprise. With this Shiny Dreepy, Jacob's future potential would be even greater, and she felt happy without realizing it.

"Nice to meet you, little one," Jacob said to the cute Dreepy before placing it into a Poké Ball.

"Now get back to class," Maximus instructed.

"Yes, sir."

...

Another day passed in the blink of an eye. Saturday brought another move tutoring class. Today, Nina would be teaching Dragon Pulse, and Jacob naturally wouldn't miss it.

With Nina teaching Dragon Pulse, Jacob could now legitimately teach the move to all his Pokémon except Dreepy.

Nina explained the technique while having Noivern demonstrate. This time, Jacob didn't listen very attentively, focusing only on Dragon Pulse's practical combat applications. As for how to perform it, he completely ignored those details. With the TM, he could teach Dragon Pulse directly.

The morning passed quickly.

Jacob wasn't planning to go home this week. After calling his grandparents, he would stay in the Dragon Secret Realm for specialized training. He needed to seize every minute to improve his strength as quickly as possible.

Just then, Maximus called: "I'll be away on business soon. If you need any help, contact Nina."

"Understood." Ever since the evil Pokémon had been captured in the capital, Maximus no longer needed to guard the secret realm constantly and occasionally went out on missions.
