King Killian's eyes grew wide in shock when black furs began ripping from his hands and legs. He gasped when his teeth and claws elongated without him commanding them to. He felt his vision change from clear to red and his body grew bigger. Another excruciating pain came again, and he tried to scream, but instead, a loud thunderous howl escaped his mouth.
"Why am I shifting?! I'm not supposed to!" King thought Inwardly, his heart racing faster with each second. Another pain came and his bones started to break and rearrange.
This was not supposed to be happening. King Killian should not be shifting because it was part of the curse. Aside from binding his most powerful side, King Killian was also cursed to never shift. He could only extract his claws but could never shift. So what was happening? Why was he suddenly shifting?!
