"Tell me what he needs."
"The use of golden energy has poisoned him."
"He belongs to the Clan of Fire, Golden Energy should be like air for him."
"Yes, but not while he has barely started to get used to his powers. We rushed his progress. He released a huge amount of energy that his soul was not ready for."
"So then, what's the cure here?"
"The Golden Energy isn't exactly a common cold that there will be treatment for it. Those who touch it, die. Rishi was able to prevent an immediate death, but he might die too if this continues."
"Answer my question Rayan! Is there a way to fix this?"
"Not any medicine or a ritual. He can unlock his actual abilities, but he needs to have the will for that. A lot of things need to go right here. If he is unable to push through, nothing can save him."
Achyut sighed.
"A Thousand Years! That's how long I waited for someone like Rishi to be born. First Viren, then Agastya. All failures. Then, Ali, still failure. Now, Rishi. Again, failure!"
"I'm sorry, but, we are powerless here."
"Screw this thing. I'm leaving."
"Leaving and going where?"
"To the exhibition. The warriors from the world are going to meet and fight each other. It's right on an island in the middle of the Indian Ocean. I go every year."
"What about me?"
"Stay here with him. Who knows? Maybe my luck is not entirely rotten."
Rayan just politely nodded.
"And find out where Aaryan is hiding. That rat will become an irritant if not exterminated soon."
Achyut grabbed the long coat and put it on.
"Manav died last night. He was alive for a total of 47 days as I cut his body parts one by one. Tough guy. Agastya should have found his body by now. That would keep the torture alive."
"You sure? He has nothing to lose now."
"He had nothing to lose for a thousand years. He lost his elder brother on the same day he found out he had been alive this whole time. I don't know what it is, but for some reason, I really enjoy torturing Agastya."
Achyut says that that exits the door.
Rayan turns and looks at Rishi, who is laying there, still broken.
"Rishi? Rishi, are you awake?"
His eyes open, he wakes up abruptly. Siya looks at him.
"You scared me you, idiot!" She says, leaning back from him.
"What are you doing in here?" Rishi asks her.
"We have to leave for trek. Karan tried to awaken you but you sleep like a baby." She giggled.
Rishi sighed in relief.
"Yeah, yeah! I am awake."
"You look terrified. All okay?"
"Just a bad dream."
"It's okay, that happens in cold weather. Go get ready. We'll be waiting for you."
Rishi gets out of the bed with a sigh. He sees Siya exit the room. She was already dressed, and ready for the trek. He smiled gently as he looked at her go. He whispers to himself as he turns to the bathroom.
"The prettiest girl in the world, right next to me this whole time, and I had not idea!"
"Go ahead! Heal! I'll let you heal. You still have to answer my questions after all."
The voice was not pleasant at all. Rishi felt rage in his blood, as he heard that voice.
Achyut landed on the island, got off the helicopter and looked around. Hades never holds back when it comes to events like this.
He looked at a distance, at another helipad, it wasn't just any other person who was getting off, it was The President of China, Liang Zhenyu, Power Level 1150, officially the third most powerful being on the planet. As The President of China climbed down the stairs and walked towards the complex ahead, he ran into Aarav Vardhan, The President of India, Power Level 1000.
The two presidents looked quite happy to see each other it seemed. Achyut scoffed.
"So much for patriotism!"
That place looked like a huge football stadium, except there were no thousands of seats. There were only VIP rooms that every single guest could sit alone comfortably in. The bodyguards were quite pointless to have these days. Just like the armies. With Presidents being this powerful on their own, people refused to sign up for the armed forces. The public demanded that the world leaders themselves get into the battlefield and defend the national interests. Coincidentally, wars disappeared from the world and every issue was sorted through negotiations.
The first and only President vs President battle was seen 2 years back. It happened between The President of Germany, Alaric Eisenwald and The President of South Korea, Seo Min-jae. It destroyed a whole village that the two chose to fight in. Fortunately, that village was evacuated weeks before the fight. The fight started but never ended. The two presidents were destroying houses with their punches but the fight was so clumsy, they stopped out of pure embarrassment.
Turns out, Hades only gave you raw power, not the fighting skills to use it. Since that day, all the presidents agreed that fighting is bad.
Achyut had his own VIP room booked with everything. Yes, everything. The guests were allowed to have good, drinks, even streaming services to watch in case the show they came for was too boring for them. Yes, even girls were available for them, strangle, or maybe not strangely, the female guests had guys available for them in case they were in the mood. The world of elite class is pretty unjust to the common folk.
"Ladies and Gentlemen!"
Achyut looked at the figure in the middle of the arena.
"Thank, for coming to the 4th annual warrior exhibition. Hades is truly grateful to you."
The one down there was The Chairman of Hades and yes, he had a mask on. A black mask that hid his face. No one knew who he was and no one dared to ask.
"Please welcome, our latest subject. Shattering the limits by a huge difference. Let me assure you that even The President of The USA, over in that top suite is no match. Safe to say our subject is currently unbeatable."
Achyut scoffed at those words.
"Please welcome, Kai!"
An Asian looking man rose from below the ground, the lights fell on him. He was dressed in a tight joggers and a sleeveless vest. Both made out of leather. He was dressed perfectly like a modern warrior. Achyut's eyes narrowed.
"Why do I feel like I know this man?"
