Chapter 88 - Afternoon Gladoration

"Getting used to immediately becoming lucid when dreaming feels rather weird."

The ruins stretched endlessly, carved from marble veins and cracked obsidian, their grandeur forgotten by time. 

Banners fluttered on collapsed pylons, their glyphs unrecognized by any living archive. 

They bore the mark of something ancient, neither hostile nor comforting, swaying in a wind that didn't reach the skin. 

The skies above were a hue that could not exist in reality—neither dusk nor dawn, a perpetual moment in between.

Kivas walked among the stones with no weapon, no armor, and no fear. She had been visiting this kind of random dreamscape many times. 

Dreamscapes always shifted, but there was a thread of familiarity. Whetherthe air too still, the color too silent. 

She scanned the area out of habit, searching for silhouettes, claw-etched geometry, or any signs of a Nightmare crawling from her soul's fracture.

"Looks like I'm free for the time being."
