The nurses shoved me out of the room and shut the door while I stood outside, panic-stricken. I had literally ran all the way here to see her but it seems that is not happening right now as Nicole was writhing in pain. It seemed like the troubles will never end. Just when I thought Nicole was alright, now this.
I looked up at fearfully at Dr Albert who had been behind me and had just arrived at Nicole's room. He got inside the room, and shut the door without a glance towards my direction.
"What's going on?" I heard doctor Albert ask in a low voice. The voice that replied to him was low, and impossible to hear from where I istood.
Idris came in a little while later from God knows where, his eyes were sad, and his expression was tensed, expressing various emotions.
