The whole room was a noisy palace, and Nicole wasn't so much affected or irritated. It shows just how much she's experienced this. All three babies were screaming at the top of their voices, although none of their screams came anything close to Levi's. Nicole's phone was another source of noise. It had refused to stop ringing, and Nicole had to search frantically for it, with a crying Laurel placed on her chest.
She found it finally, and made it stop ringing, after which she headed towards Lennox on the crib, and cooed at him. Lennox, the most quiet and gentle among them, was the first to stop crying, after which Nicole proceeded to pacify Laurel who stopped crying after a few pats on her bottom. All this while, I patted Levi on the bottom too but it was all to no avail but when every other source of noise ceased making noise, he too stopped screaming.
