As hard as it was, I got all my stuff together, and the triplets', and with Leonard's men doing most of the work, all our belongings were moved into a lorry, one I didn't realize that Leonard owned. Leonard stood watching, with a strange expression. Maybe he was relieved that the burden had been taken off him or maybe he was just as pained as I was. Or maybe, just maybe he was even more pained.
I put on a brave face, even though I was sobbing uncontrollably from the inside, I acted as though I couldn't wait to be out of Leonard's mansion whereas I didn't want to leave but I didn't want to seem weak, and an easy to trample upon bride, and so Leonard had to suffer for what he did even if it meant that I will suffer as well.
I didn't think it would be this difficult to leave until I began to pack up my belongings. Some of the things triggered memories which caused my eyes to water so that I shook my head, and put them away immediately,
