Chapter 92: Re-entering the Scroll.
"A second-grade sorcerer wants to fight a special grade? It seems you've grown a lot these past few days."
Suguru Geto stared intently at the giant scroll on Tatsuro's back but showed no intention of making a move. He sighed deeply and said, "Sorry, I was too hasty. Your concerns are also normal. Can we pretend those words just now were never heard?"
"Okay."
Tatsuro agreed readily. If they were to truly fight, it would only lead to mutual destruction. He could see that Suguru Geto was very fond of these two girls who were about his age. If Tatsuro were to make a move, it would be instantaneous – form a Rasengan and go all out.
This moment was more like a psychological game between them; he couldn't show any weakness. He had to display his strengths. If Geto dared to make a move, Tatsuro would take one of them hostage to ensure his retreat.
"Good, let's continue eating crepes. A bit of casual chat is also nice."
Suguru Geto wasn't worried that Tatsuro would tell Gojo Satoru. After all, transactions between jujutsu sorcerers carry a curse. If Tatsuro were to violate it, the price would not be small.
(PS: Mentioned in Chapter 75.)
Twenty minutes passed. Tatsuro pushed open the shop door, turned to Suguru Geto inside, and said, "Thank you for your hospitality. The crepes were very delicious."
"It's nothing. Go back early, don't keep your friends waiting too long." Suguru Geto waved his hand, watching until Tatsuro left.
Nanako, beside him, asked, "Is it really okay, Lord Geto? He wanted to attack you just now."
"Yeah, why don't we just slaughter that kid?" Mimiko said, taking out her phone.
"It's fine. You can interact with him more in the future. He's someone worth befriending deeply. Besides, you two can't beat him." As Suguru Geto spoke, he reached out and patted both their heads.
The two girls said with blissful expressions, "Don't underestimate us, Lord Geto. In a few days, we'll tie him up and bring him back to the base."
Suguru Geto just smiled at this and said nothing.
Tatsuro, now far away from Suguru Geto, felt mentally and physically exhausted. The pressure had been too intense; he almost couldn't keep up the act. He thought, "Looks like I need to get stronger quickly. I only have four points left now, a broke ass."
Just as he reached the school gate, he saw Zenin Maki blocking the entrance. She was currently holding her naginata, while Shura lay beside her looking wronged.
"Uhh... I was just kidding. There's no need to block the gate, right? Mai asked me to say hi to you," Tatsuro said helplessly, rubbing his head.
"What do you think?" Zenin Maki looked at the scroll that had suddenly appeared on Tatsuro's back and asked with some curiosity, "What's that? Let me see."
"This is my lifeline. I'll just let you take one look. After you see it, don't hit me." As Tatsuro spoke, he took the scroll off his back and slowly unrolled it.
"So dramatic." Zenin Maki looked at the dense, hard-to-understand characters inside the scroll and asked, "What the hell is written in here? Why does it look like ghostly scribbles?"
"Good stuff." As Tatsuro spoke, he closed the scroll and put it back around his waist. The entire process was done with extreme care, as if afraid the thing would get damaged.
Although he knew things given by the system weren't that easily broken, this thing was currently his lifeline. No! Even his lifeline wasn't as important as this thing.
Mere procreation, how could it compare to this incredibly awesome 'Universal Summoning Scroll'?
This completely stumped Zenin Maki. Although she could see this thing was very important to Tatsuro, if she didn't know what it was, her curiosity would keep her up at night.
She asked, "What's this thing used for? A special grade cursed tool?"
"It could be considered a special grade cursed tool, I guess. I'll show it to you when I get stronger. Right now, I'm not qualified to control this thing yet."
Hearing it was a special grade cursed tool, Zenin Maki's interest was immediately piqued. "Really? How did you get it?"
Cursed tools, like jujutsu sorcerers, are divided into different grades. Among them, special grade cursed tools possess some unique abilities. The sword Tatsuro usually carried was a third-grade cursed tool.
For Zenin Maki's naginata, only the head part was a cursed tool; the rest of the body was a relatively sturdy piece of wood, essentially a composite.
"It's probably... a family heirloom." Tatsuro rubbed his head, glanced at the sun now setting in the sky, and continued, "Alright, it's about time for me to prepare dinner. Can you let me pass?"
"Hmph! I'll let you off today. Hurry up and go cook." Zenin Maki slung the naginata onto her shoulder and walked towards the school interior.
Shura, who had been lying on the ground with a wronged expression, immediately became lively once Maki left. As if it had been pretending just now, it ran to Tatsuro's waist, rubbed against him, and said, "Master, you're really something. Sister Maki almost took my doggy life."
"Alright, alright." Tatsuro patted Shura's doggy head and said, "Go train for a while. Come for dinner later."
"Okay!"
Hearing the word "train," Shura seemed to have been injected with chicken blood and immediately ran off. This completely baffled Tatsuro. Watching Shura's departing figure, he muttered, "Is he in heat? To be so excited. Normally, shouldn't he dawdle a bit before reluctantly leaving? Looks like I need to let him vent a bit; after all, there isn't a single female dog in the entire Tokyo High."
By the time dinner was ready, it was already eight in the evening.
Everyone sat around the table, celebrating the great victory in this Kyoto Sister School Exchange Event!
Gojo Satoru was recounting how amazing Okkotsu Yuta was, causing everyone to look at him with new admiration.
Panda patted Okkotsu Yuta's shoulder and said, "Oh! Big Brother Yuta, please take care of your little brother in the future."
Okkotsu Yuta said, somewhat embarrassed, "Don't be like that. Actually, I'm not that amazing."
Zenin Maki said with a smile, "Don't be so modest, Big Brother Yuta."
Inumaki Toge: "Doll fish!"
"Tatsuro!" Okkotsu Yuta pinned his last hope on Tatsuro, wishing he wouldn't call him that.
"Big Brother Yuta, please accept my bow! I could feel the pressure of your immense cursed energy even from a hundred meters away!" As Tatsuro spoke, he was about to kneel and kowtow, even pulling Shura along with him.
"Ah! Don't do that!"
Okkotsu Yuta's overwhelmed demeanor made everyone laugh heartily. After they had eaten and drunk their fill, they cleared the leftovers from the table and then waved goodbye and left.

The door opened, and Tatsuro returned to his long-missed home. He instantly dived onto the bed, rubbing against the warm quilt.
"Warm?"
Sensing something was off, Tatsuro sniffed the quilt. It was the scent of having been recently sun-dried. Could it be that Maki and the others had helped clean his place?
Thinking this, Tatsuro couldn't help but show a slight smile.
After resting for a moment, Tatsuro took the 'Universal Summoning Scroll' from his back, preparing to enter it again for another attempt.
After all, yesterday's attempt was fruitless. Today, he absolutely had to form a blood contract with a summoning beast. Otherwise, if a random summon really brought out Kurama, he'd be dead or at least lose a layer of skin.
He unrolled the scroll and touched the two "Summoning" characters with his right hand. As his consciousness faded and then reconvened, when he opened his eyes again, he was already inside the scroll.
The giant red iron gate still stood there. Tatsuro placed his right hand on it and said:
"Open sesame."
