"Senior, you're the king of the Demon Soul Great White Sharks—why can you take human form?" Ah Zhi pressed further.

Seeing he was no longer in danger, Bo Saixi refrained from using healing skills and instead smiled. "Tianming, how many years is your seventh soul ring?"
He answered without hesitation, "About 200,000 years."
Now a Soul Saint, Yu Tianming had safely transitioned from his developmental phase. Though only in the 70s in level, he had awakened many abilities, possibly stronger than some Title Douluos. His survival skills were top-notch—he no longer needed to hide.
Everyone gasped at the number. Terrifying.
Bo Saixi seemed to recall something and asked, "The Angel Martial Soul of Spirit Hall only shows its full potential after the soul true form is awakened. Some powerful martial souls only awaken completely after obtaining the seventh ring. Yours is excellent—did it awaken any innate abilities?"
Yu Tianming thought for a moment. "Maybe because my martial soul is special… After getting the seventh ring, I gained the ability to affect the local weather."

Sensing his strength, she didn't dare slack. She leapt up, transforming back into her shark form and diving into the sea.
Dugu Yan frowned. "Tianming-ge, why warn her we're about to attempt the trial? Won't she be better prepared and make it harder?"
Yu Tianming waved it off. "I've got a plan to cross the Ring Sea fair and square. Her condition won't matter."
Ah Zhu added, "There are a lot of thousand-year soul beasts in there. If we go in head-on, we might kill them and fail the trial."
"Don't worry. I've got it. I won't hurt any of the weaker soul beasts. We'll pass."
He patted Ah Zhu's shoulder and turned to Ah Zhi. "Anything else on your mind?"
"Why don't land soul masters stay longer? Wouldn't more training improve our chances?"
Yu Tianming knew Ah Zhi loved the water and wanted to improve her aquatic combat, and she wasn't wrong. But he was already 15, and Tang San had just turned 10. In two years, Shrek would start recruiting. He couldn't stay on Sea God Island forever or miss his plans.
He gently pinched Ah Zhi's cheek. "Staying longer might help, but there's no training here like the Sea God's Light. Plus, it's inconvenient. Better to move on."
Ah Zhi's cheeks flushed, and she nodded quietly. She and Yu Tianming had only shared a bed once back in Heaven Dou City. They hadn't done anything intimate in the year since. Hearing his words, she was naturally eager to move forward with the trial.
Seeing Ah Zhi blush, Dugu Yan proudly clung to Yu Tianming's arm and declared, "Since we all agree, let's go try to cross Sea God Island together!"
