Chapter 51 - Chapter 51: You Can Dodge the First Day, But Not the Seventh

[What was that sound just now? The subtitles rarely leave things unannotated, yet this time they just put three question marks???]

[Cocolia definitely has something wrong with her. Look at her hand—it's already being eroded by the ice. And her tone at the end was extremely off.]

[If I had to say, it is a bit strange.]

[Seriously, guys, didn't you hear it? Caelus heard it too when he left! If the protagonist can hear it, it's definitely foreshadowing!]

The young man focused on watching the story continue to unfold, nothing more than Caelus wandering around Belobog.

However.

His phone began vibrating incessantly.

[Honkai Star Rail's Succubus: @everyone, Hahaha, I can't take it anymore! The Belobog storyline is too funny!]

[Silver Wolf's Current Boyfriend: Huh? What's funny? Isn't it just wandering around while setting up the plot right now?]

[Herta's #1 Simp: It is a bit abstract, but not exactly abstract… more like excessively abstract.]

[Kafka's Dog: Abstract?]

[Adorably Invincible March's Wife: It really is kind of funny. @Honkai Star Rail's Succubus, good thing you recommended I watch Stelle's version, hahaha!]

[It's miHoYo Not Hoyoverse: You guys are watching Stelle's version? I'm watching Caelus's.]

[I Love Drinking Himeko's Coffee: I'm also on Stelle's version. My stomach hurts from laughing—digging through trash right off the bat.]

[Domineering Caelus Baby Loves Me: Huh??? What do you mean?]

[Honkai Star Rail's Succubus: I'll record a video for you guys to see!]

[Honkai Star Rail's Succubus: Video.avi.]

The young man opened it. Though it was just a phone recording of a computer screen,

it was understandable—streaming apps nowadays, whether on PC or mobile, have anti-recording features to prevent rampant piracy.

The earlier plot was mostly the same. After the trio left Qlipoth Fort,

Gepard introduced them to local landmarks.

Stelle then arrived in front of an ice sculpture, where a cute little girl stood—none other than Pela, who had only briefly appeared in the PV.

"Allow me to introduce myself. I am the Silvermane Guards' intelligence officer and your temporary guide for 'The Belobog Tour'—Pelageya Sergeyevna!

Just call me Pela!"

The children: "Sister~ Pela~ "

Stelle's lips curled up as she imitated them in a high-pitched voice, "Sister~ Pela~ "

Pela glanced at Stelle. "Please, certain adults should refrain from shamelessly mimicking children."

Afterward,

Pela began explaining the "ice sculpture" behind her—its real name, the Everwinter Monument, and the history it represented.

[Silver Wolf's Current Boyfriend: It is a bit… something. Caelus just stays silent.]

[It's miHoYo Not Hoyoverse: Baby~]

[I Love Drinking Himeko's Coffee: Certain adults? She's barely a year old!]

[Honkai Star Rail's Succubus: Even if the behavior's absurd, Stelle's performance feels oddly natural! This is gonna be a legendary scene.]

[Adorably Invincible March's Wife: The differences between Stelle's and Caelus's versions aren't huge. Stelle's just more mischievous, while Caelus is more serious.]

[Kafka's Dog: Shamelessly! Key point!]

[Domineering Caelus Baby Loves Me: Why does Pela feel so different from other characters? She's so symmetrical!]

[Asta Is My Wife: Now that you mention it, she really is!]

[Herta's #1 Simp: Those thigh-highs look so… hype!]

Later.

Stelle's series of actions left the young man utterly stunned.

She ransacked every single trash can in Belobog—even the mailboxes weren't spared!

Finally, Stelle stopped in front of a shop called "Everwinter," where the cool-as-ice Serval made her grand entrance.

Seeing that the plot progression was identical in both versions,

the young man returned to the streaming app to continue watching Caelus's version with the chat.

At this moment, the trio was inside the shop conversing with Serval.

The subtitles deliberately emphasized "Geomarrow," "Upper and Lower City," and "decree from years ago" with higher contrast,

allowing the audience to glimpse another side of the city.

[Geomarrow is an "energy ore"? Energy source?! I have a bad feeling about this.]

[Here comes the conflict, huh?]

[Is this like Zaun and Piltover? A tale of two cities?]

[Kinda gives that vibe. But Zaun and Piltover have a hierarchy. Belobog's Upper and Lower Cities probably don't.]

[Ah, no matter where you go, it's the same—where there's light, there's always a dark side!]

The story continued. After helping Serval with some volunteer work, Caelus prepared to return to the hotel to rest.

However,

on the way back, he saw the city's Fragmentum corrosion—spreading bit by bit due to the Stellaron.

...

After parting ways with March 7th and Dan Heng, Caelus lay on his bed.

Bored, he stared at the ceiling, his eyelids growing heavier.

The camera switched to Caelus's first-person perspective, blinking a few times before darkness consumed the screen.

Yet, a hoarse whisper echoed.

"Cocolia… Cocolia…"

The subtitles noted that the voice belonged to the "Stellaron!"

The young Cocolia: "Who are you? No—what are you?"

"We are your allies. The allies who have accompanied and protected the Guardians for generations!"

"What do you want?"

"To rebuild this dying world. To help you 'fulfill' your wish."

"Hah!"

Caelus gasped for breath, staring at the door. He didn't know what had jolted him awake.

A dream?

Or the incessant knocking?

After straightening his appearance slightly, he regrouped with the other two.

Dan Heng looked troubled. "There are many Silvermane Guards outside the hotel."

Caelus rubbed his chin. "If this is just to welcome us, it's a bit excessive. Let's head down, but stay cautious."

Soon enough.

As expected, Bronya arrived with Pela and a squad of Silvermane Guards to apprehend the trio.

Surrounded on all sides, March 7th mustered all her wisdom and blurted out, "Look over there—that alleyway."

Dan Heng glanced at the alley and pondered for a moment. "That area's sealed off due to Fragmentum corrosion—I see. This is indeed a viable plan.

Prepare to run!"

Caelus and Dan Heng exchanged a look, while March 7th remained clueless. "Huh? Really? I was just saying random stuff!"

"Observe the corner, three of a kind!"

"Eh?" Caelus stared blankly at Dan Heng.

March 7th made a shushing gesture. "It's a code phrase. On the count of one, we all run together!"

"The monarch's command admits no dispute!"

"Hey, what are you muttering about? Move it!" A furious guard stepped forward.

The camera zoomed in on Dan Heng's face as he took a deep breath and closed his eyes—

then snapped them open.

"Two pair—"

 "Ace!"
