The ringing clash of metal echoed loudly as Dullahan's massive spear struck my black chain. The force of the impact was so immense that the ground cracked beneath my feet, sending me flying several meters back, leaving a long drag mark across the black marble floor of the dungeon.
GRUAAHH!! His horse's roar, a deep rumble mixed with the grating of bones, shattered the eerie silence of the 30th floor.
I landed with one knee bent, my body still trembling from the blow. My breath though I no longer truly needed air was forced out in an attempt to calm the surge of adrenaline in this undead body.
