Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 Young Master Seys Said, I Slipped...

Dawn Sutherland and Nico Haynes, who were singing, also heard the conversation and involuntarily stopped singing, exchanging glances with a somewhat heavy expression.

Nico Haynes walked up to those wealthy heirs. Holding the microphone and pursing his lips, he appeared somewhat condescending compared to the seated heirs, and asked, "The eldest daughter of the Morris Family? What's her name?"

The group of wealthy heirs immediately stopped their discussion and looked at Nico Haynes, who had suddenly joined in.

One of them scratched his head, thought for a moment, and uncertainly said, "It's Morris... Ariel something..."

Dawn Sutherland, who had followed Nico Haynes over, softly uttered three words, "Ariel Morris?"

The wealthy heir slapped his thigh, exclaiming with a grin, "Yes, it's Ariel Morris! The eldest daughter of the Morris Family!"

After hearing the answer, Nico Haynes and Dawn Sutherland both directed their gaze towards Arlo Seys, who was quietly sitting there.

The group of wealthy heirs, seeing the two didn't ask further, resumed their enthusiastic discussion.

"It's said that the eldest daughter of the Morris Family is very beautiful! And she's returned from studying abroad, so she must be both gentle and well-educated."

"Tsk, tsk, as if you've seen her!"

"Anyway, now that she's back, it shouldn't be difficult to see the eldest daughter of the Morris Family!"

"Are you interested in the eldest daughter of the Morris Family?"

"Can't I just have some fun?! I want to see if girls who studied abroad are inherently more wild! Haha!"

As soon as he finished speaking.

With a "bang," the sound of a cup breaking on the floor exploded in everyone's ears.

Dawn Sutherland and Nico Haynes froze on the spot upon hearing the name Ariel Morris.

The sudden explosive sound carried an inexplicable chill that made the heart race, ringing out distinctively and sharply, drawing attention.

Everyone looked towards the source of the sound.

The culprit, Arlo Seys, sitting on the other side of the sofa, adjusted his posture to a more elegant position, exuding an air of nobility. He then casually replied with two words, "Slipped hand."

"..."

No one in the private room responded for a moment, and the atmosphere was somewhat strange.

Nico Haynes, who had played with Arlo Seys since childhood, twitched his mouth.

What a line – slipped hand! He could guarantee that if the person who had just imagined Ariel Morris aloud spoke another word, that cup might have shattered over his head...

Dawn Sutherland, also a good friend, raised his eyebrows, moved his lips but ultimately remained silent.

What a joke, speaking up at this moment would be like setting off a mine! He didn't want to be blown to bits!

Even though Arlo sat there so elegantly, he still felt a chill down his spine!

Whenever Arlo hears the name Ariel Morris, he completely forgets how to spell the word rational! What if any anger spills over to his little pond fish self?

Just when everyone had fallen silent, not daring to even breathe deeply, Arlo Seys elegantly picked up a glass of wine from the coffee table, took a sip, then stood up, smiling calmly as he said, "I'm going to the restroom."

His face wore a faint smile, polite and courteous. But before leaving, his peripheral vision swept over the wealthy heir who had imagined Ariel Morris aloud, carrying a hint of sharpness. Then, seemingly casually but with great elegance, he adjusted his clothes and gracefully exited the private room.

As soon as Arlo Seys left, the wealthy heir he glanced at sighed in relief, releasing the breath stuck in his throat.

Why did he feel like he had somehow offended Young Master Seys?

Why did Seys' gaze seem to pierce him like a sharp arrow?

Was he overthinking it?

As he thought, trembling, he poured himself a drink to calm his nerves and drained it in one gulp.
