The next afternoon, in the Ji Family's President's office, President Ji's large desk was covered with open documents.
Sitting at the desk, left and right, were two men. One was naturally the owner of this office, Ji Rui, and the other was his special assistant, Yang Sheng.
Their brief conversation yesterday reached some consensus, so they both dove into the pile of documents early in the morning. They were busy for most of the day, barely having time to catch their breath.
The president's secretary brought in a cup of rich coffee then quietly left. Yang Sheng, watching her back, spaced out for a moment; a thought suddenly popped into his head.
"Rui, I need to tell you something!"
Yang Sheng's eyes gleamed, his lips slightly curled up. He pushed with his foot and leaned his seat to the side of Ji Rui.
"Speak."
Ji Rui was looking through some old documents, frowning.
"I'm too busy now and can't handle everything. I need to request a secretary."
