Death?
What was it exactly?
Death is the end of life; the irreversible cessation of all biological functions that sustain a living organism. Death eventually and inevitably occurs in all organisms. The remains of a former organism normally begin to decompose shortly after death. Some organisms, such as Turritopsis dohrnii, are biologically immortal; however, they can still die from means other than aging. Death is generally applied to whole organisms; the equivalent for individual components of an organism, such as cells or tissues, is necrosis. Something that is not considered an organism, such as a virus, can be physically destroyed but is not said to die, as a virus is not considered alive in the first place.
But... it's also the first step towards the afterlife, whether it's hell or heaven, it all depends on your actions that you did during your lifetime.
I barely remember what I did to get here. *thinks then realizes* I remember saving my so-called childhood friend who ended up revealing that he used me to steal my girlfriend and completely brainwashed her into thinking he was her boyfriend.
I clench my fists just thinking about all the favors I've done for him and he stabs me in the back like it's nothing.
One day I will avenge this humiliation and he will see nothing of what will hit him in the face. While I was deep in thought, a dazzling light erupted before me and a wonderful place opened up to me.
"Good morning, young lost soul!" I turned towards the voice of what sounded like an old man. I then saw a table where a little old man was sitting there sipping... tea.
"Hello? What can I do for you?" I ask cautiously.
"Hikari Akatsuki. 20 years old. A teenager who was tricked by his childhood friend only to have his girlfriend stolen." The old man said, but how does he know all this?
"But how do you know who I am?" I said, putting myself in battle position.
"Don't be afraid, young man. You are in heaven right now, and I am Yhwach the God of the Bible." The old man told me, revealing his name.
"If you're exactly who I think you are, then what the hell are you doing here instead of up there, huh?" I told him. For a few minutes there was total silence until the Biblical God let out a deep sigh of sadness before rising from his chair and turning completely towards me.
"Normally, yes, I should be in Heaven with my children, but..." He stopped speaking, searching for words, before continuing. "Unfortunately, I cannot return there since I am supposedly dead after being killed by my son Samael during the Holy War, but this battle is known by different names: War of Heaven, Lucifer's Rebellion, The Grand Conflict, Battle of the Angels, The First Sin, Beginning of the Eternal Conflict, Conflict in Paradise, War of Good and Evil, Heavenly War, The First Rebellion, The Great Holy War, Heaven Civil War."
"I see... but what can I do now? Since I'm dead and a lost soul!" I told him sadly, seeing I'm meeting a tragic end after miserably betrayed by so-called friend. Nothing to think about it, I furiously clench tighty my fists.
"Well, I can give you a second chance to begin your newly life in a other world" He told him with hope.
"So it means, I will be reincarnated in a world from my choice, right?" He nods with a smile.
"Exactly!" I smile to him and begins to think then found it.
"I think to be reincarnated in DxD with Solo Leveling system and with my own skills" I excitedly told him with a smile then he nods.
"Very well then, I'll begin the process of reincarnation into this world and your system so I wish good luck in your adventures, Hikari Akatsuki." He told him while I was fading away for my new life.
