"It's been two days now and nothing has happened," Vaelith Shouyn, commander and captain of the Academy security, said with a twist to her lips.
She sat beside Darius Faulkner in a room inside the training center. Different projections of the training center and the room that Severin was using flickered in the air around them.
Darius shifted, his face pulled into a nasty frown. At first, he ignored her before he shook his head. "Everything is turning into something that I find very irritating."
Darius Faulkner didn't like to wait. He wasn't a patient hunter, and yet he'd been forced into waiting.
Vaelith shifted. "I thought the boy had something planned, a way to lure the culprit in maybe? But it's the night of the second day and still nothing."
Although they were waiting and watching Severin and his group, outside was tense, as the Academy had issued a curfew, and the security guards were combing every inch while the instructors took to the Field Zone.
