anyways thank you for the continue support. I will definitely give the chapter 69 tomorrow!
-----------
At the Alden family dojo, tucked inside the peaceful grounds of their home, fifteen-year-old Noah sat cross-legged in the middle of the polished wooden floor. His eyes were closed. He was quiet, focused doing what had become his daily routine.
A few days ago, his Jedi training ended without warning. His master had vanished, leaving behind only a small ship and a note: "Your next steps are your own to choose." No instructions, no goodbye, just that.
Noah felt numb at that time. Not understanding the reason of his master for leaving. But instead of moping around, he came here, to meditate.
He breathed slowly, reaching out with the Force. At the same time, his Genestella energy called prana reacted. It moved gently around him, like small stars twinkling in the air. Shapes appeared too, faint glowing symbols that only someone from the Alden family can be seen.
This was his family's legacy. The symbols were part of him. He didn't know what would come next, but right now, he can only do one step at a time.
The Alden family are well known for being special even among other Genestella families. Every child born into the Alden line inherited something unique, a power shaped by generations. This legacy could be traced back to Noah's great-great-grandfather, Hardwin Alden, the first Alden who became a Genestella.
Hardwin married Iolanthe Peverell, a talented and powerful strega. She wasn't just skilled—she was versatile, able to heal wounds, cast a wide range of spells, summon familiars, reshape objects, and more. Hardwin's body carried a genetic trait that could adapt, evolve, and even mutate. With Iolanthe's talents being mesh with Alden genes, their descendants were able to inherit their powers and legacy.
Their son, Charlus, further enhances this gift. Studying his mother's techniques and his father's martial arts, he developed their own family combat style that combines both magic abilities and martial arts. It was efficient, powerful, and precise that fully takes advantage of their heritage. That same art was passed down to Noah's grandfather, Caelus, and then to his father, Haruto.
Each succeeding Alden continued to develop and add their own touch to their family legacy. Making the best in each of their generations. However, despite the fame and power of the Aldens, they never chased fame or tried to stand out. They were happiest living simply, focusing on family and the things that mattered to them. But if something or someone needed protecting, they didn't have to be asked.
Caelus stood firm during the civil war in Asterisk between humans and Genestella. Haruto stepped up without question during the Stellaron disaster. They never asked for thanks. That wasn't the Alden way.
And now, it will be up to Noah on how to continue their legacy.
Noah let out a deep breath and slowly opened his eyes. The dojo shines around him, faint lights drifting like stars, with prana and the Force reacting together, filling the space in a gentle glow.
"Well, well," came a familiar voice. "Looks like my grandson is finally putting his mark on the Alden legacy."
Caelus stood at the entrance, arms folded, watching with a faint smirk. Prana still lingered in the air, dancing softly.
"Whoa!" Mahiru gasped from beside him, eyes wide. "Big Brother, that was amazing! It's like the whole house turned into a starfield!"
Touya nodded from behind her. "It felt like we were floating in a sea of light."
Noah blinked. "Wait... the whole house?"
Caelus shrugged. "You were in here for two hours. The prana reached every room. Everyone felt it."
"Two hours?!" Noah's calm shattered. "What time is it?!"
Caelus casually checked his pocket watch. "Fifteen minutes past nine."
Noah's eyes widened. "Ah—crap! I'm late! Masha's gonna murder me by pouting!"
He scrambled to his feet and dashed toward his room.
After the Lavender Incident, he'd promised Masha he'd do anything to make up for the embarrassment. Her request? One day together. Just the two of them. And she'd asked it while blushing from ear to ear.
Mahiru bounced with excitement. "Oooh! So it's a date?! Big Sis Masha's going for it!"
"Masha?" Caelus blinked.
"You know, Big Sis Masha Kujou," Touya explained. "The girl Big Bro saved back when we were little."
Caelus paused, eyebrows lifting. "Ahh... a Kujou, huh. Great. Mikhail's going to be impossible when he hears this."
He let out a slow sigh and gently patted the twins on the head.
"Good luck, Noah," he muttered. "You're gonna need it."
