The air itself seemed to shatter as a deafening boom erupted, rippling outward in a blinding shockwave. The harpy's body crumpled, obliterated into fragments of feathers and gore, the force of the blow reducing it to little more than scattered debris only the crystal remained
The shockwave tore through the ground, flattening trees, shattering rocks, and rippling outward for meters. Dust and debris filled the air, swirling violently as the force of the punch reverberated through the landscape. Neto stood at the centre of the devastation, his glowing arm still extended, the faint hum of energy dissipating into silence.
His breathing was hasty and rash, his gaze cold.
The arm pulsed faintly, almost as if alive, the blue hues dimming but still flickering with latent power.
For a moment, the world was still, the aftermath of his strike leaving only destruction in its wake. Neto glanced at his arm, a mixture of awe and unease in his eyes
The power coursing through the limb hummed with a life of its own, but then, like a flame being snuffed out, it began to fade.
The metallic sheen dulled, the intricate plates and glowing veins dissolving into wisps of shimmering blue energy.
It started at his fingertips, the talons crumbling into dust that scattered on the wind.
The transformation unwound rapidly, retreating up his arm as the alien metal vanished, revealing his flesh underneath. Now, only his bare, trembling arm remained, streaked with faint burns.
Neto stared as the last of the arm disappeared, the energy dissipating into nothingness. His breathing was ragged, his body trembling with exhaustion.
His battered body stood by just his willpower alone.
He was so close to death,yet he smiled.
He picked up the crystal and held it in his hand.
"Hah,almost died."

He opened up his phone as he waited.

"No ,I quit.
I wanna go sleep."
"Uh ar- are you sure? You still have time to accumulate more points."
