Chapter 109 - Chapter 109; Don't call me..

How could they do this? Lu Ting Zhou already declined, but what if they meant what they were saying? Would Lu Ting Zhou kill her?

"I don't think they bluff; whichever one of us dies, they won't lose anything; at the end, they can just harvest the organs and sell them..." Lu Ting Zhou replied flatly, his gaze still pinned on the nearest camera. "But they do lie. Constantly."

A metallic clunk echoed from the wall. From a small hatch, something slid out—a sleek, silver blade, its edge glinting under the cold artificial lights. The room grew tenser as both of them stared at it.

It was a sharp blade, just one cut, and the opponent would be dead! Did they mean it?

Yaya staggered back horrified. "No… No, I won't....!" She might have abandoned him but he was her son... How can she do that?

Lu Ting Zhou trudged forward and picked up the blade checking it out.

Holding the blade, he walked over to where Song Yaya was seated.

"No! No! Don't get any closer! Don't come near me..."

"Hehehe.... Song Yaya, you can't be that selfish right? You are my mother, is it that hard to sacrifice your life for my freedom?" He got closer, bent down, and pinned the blade on her neck.

"Please! Please! Ting Zhou, don't kill me... Don't kill me...."

"I would do anything you want but don't kill me..."

"I'm your mother!"

Her body trembled, her lips quivered, and her eyes teared nonstop.

"Mnnnh! What a brave man you are... Finish her off! That place you are pinning the blade is the fastest one to kill a human! You just need to exert a little bit of pressure...." That maniacal voice echoed from the speaker.

The blade was already stained with blood and Song Yaya could only close her eyes. There was nothing she could do if he really wanted to kill her.

"Hehe... I don't have any plans of killing a human at my age!" He withdrew the blade before putting it into his pocket. It would come in handy when he needed it.

Song Yaya almost fainted! Her body vigorously trembled and she was feeling cold.

"Hehe..... Hehe....."

After that maniacal laughter then the speakers went dead. Only the sound of their breathing filled the room once again.

Song Yaya sat trembling on the floor, while Lu Ting Zhou remained standing, eyes burning, thoughts racing. He didn't know what to do apart from waiting for his family to rescue them.

"Ting Zhou...."

"Don't call me; your family better show up to rescue you; if not, you are dead meat!" He sat down further away from her.

Lu Zhi Hao stood by the window gazing into the streets, arms crossed, his face a stone mask of control.

Next to him was Gabriel, who had been pacing back and forth, visibly anxious, his nerves fraying with every minute of silence.

"Apart from pacing around, I actually haven't seen you do anything! Don't you have your own security team?" Lu Zhi Hao was getting more and more annoyed with his presence.

"Why should I bring another team when you have a huge team here? Would you even accept your men getting entangled with my men to handle this situation?" They both had their security measures and for this exercise to be successful, it was best to use one team that was already used to each other's combats.

"You!" He didn't know what to expect from him but what he just said was true. It wouldn't be easy to command a team you have never handled before.

Suddenly, a sharp beep echoed from the laptop Lu Zi Zhen was holding. His fingers ran through the laptop trying to decipher the codes.
