"Husband, what do you think of this dress?" Bulma asked, holding up a tiny Saiyan-style baby outfit with bright blue and gold fabric clearly tailored for combat readiness, despite its size.
"Bulma, you're literally at full term! You could go into labor at any moment. Do you really think now's the time to be out shopping?" Li Xu asked helplessly, eyeing her swollen belly, now nine months along.
"I've been cooped up at home on Planet Sadala for weeks. I'm going stir-crazy!" Bulma replied with a slight pout.
"We don't even know if it's a boy or a girl! What's the point of buying clothes now?" Li Xu sighed. The situation reminded him of how carefree Bulma was back on Earth, despite the dangers surrounding the Z-Fighters.
"Boys and girls can wear this it's unisex! And I wanted to pick the outfit myself," Bulma retorted.
"Alright, alright!" Li Xu gave up with a shrug, defeated once again by his wife's stubborn logic.
"Ah!" Bulma suddenly cried out, clutching her belly as her face contorted in pain.
"Bulma! Are you going into labor?" Li Xu asked anxiously, instantly moving to support her.
"Y-Yeah…" Bulma nodded, her face pale as the contractions began to intensify.
"I'm taking you back immediately!" Li Xu pressed his index and middle fingers to his forehead, and with the familiar hum of Instant Transmission, they vanished.
"Doctor! My wife is about to give birth!"
Bulma had insisted on a private delivery, so Li Xu had already brought a medical team from Sadala's elite hospitals to their villa. The technology on Sadala was highly advanced rivaling even Capsule Corp's but infused with Saiyan toughness and efficiency.
"The amniotic sac has ruptured! Begin emergency delivery prep!" one of the female doctors called out after checking Bulma.
"Understood!" Li Xu nodded, stepping aside as Bulma was quickly wheeled into the birthing room by the Saiyan-trained medical team.
"Aaah!"
"Push! You're almost there, the child is coming!"
Bulma's cries mixed with the voices of the doctors urging her on. Outside, Li Xu's palms were drenched in sweat. He had fought gods, destroyed planets, and battled in tournaments between universes but nothing had made him this anxious.
"How much longer?!" Li Xu muttered, pacing in tight circles, tension radiating from every movement.
Two full hours passed before the piercing cry of a newborn echoed from the room.
"He's born!"
Li Xu's body slackened with relief, and only now did he notice how soaked his shirt was with sweat.
"Congratulations, sir. It's a boy!" a female doctor said cheerfully, cradling a strong, healthy infant wrapped in soft blue blankets.
"How's Bulma?!" Li Xu asked immediately, his heart still pounding.
"She's stable. Both mother and child are doing well!" the doctor smiled.
"Thank the gods..." Li Xu whispered, even though he knew Bulma's soul now regenerated thanks to Super Shenron's blessing. He still couldn't help worrying she was his whole world.
"Wait ahhh!"
Another sudden cry came from the room Bulma's voice again.
"What now?!" Li Xu's heart leapt again.
"Sir! Your wife was carrying twins! Another baby is on the way!" a different doctor informed him, rushing out.
"Give me the boy I'll hold him. You go help her immediately!" Li Xu said quickly, taking the infant in his arms.
"Yes, sir!" The doctor nodded and dashed back inside.
Nearly an hour later, another cry rang out softer this time.
"Congratulations again! You now have a daughter!" the same doctor emerged, this time with a baby girl wrapped in pink cloth.
Li Xu didn't respond he sprinted into the room to Bulma's bedside. She looked exhausted, her hair damp with sweat, but her expression was warm.
"You did amazing, Bulma... Thank you," Li Xu said, crouching beside her.
"Silly. Where are the kids?" she whispered tiredly.
"Right here." Li Xu gently handed her the baby boy. "And the girl's just outside."
The second doctor entered, placing the baby girl next to Bulma on the bed. The rest of the staff quietly exited, giving the family privacy.
"They're so wrinkly… not cute at all," Bulma frowned, inspecting the newborns.
"Newborns always look like that. Give them a little time. I'm sure the girl will be as beautiful as her mother, and the boy will take after his handsome father," Li Xu said smugly.
"Pfft!"
"Husband, you're getting more and more narcissistic," Bulma said with a tired chuckle.
"I'm just speaking the truth!" Li Xu replied solemnly, pretending to be serious.
At this moment, both newborns began to cry at once. In an instant, a powerful surge of ki erupted from their tiny bodies, distorting the air and sending a blast of wind through the room. The walls trembled as medical equipment clattered against the floor. Fortunately, Li Xu reacted swiftly, shielding Bulma with his own body and forming a ki barrier to protect her from the sudden outburst.
"H-Husband, what's going on with the babies?" Bulma asked anxiously, gripping his arm as she watched the children's radiant auras flicker erratically.

But these two being born with a combat power of 100,000 were unprecedented in both Universe 6 and Universe 7.

Li Xu carefully cradled both infants one in each arm and quietly stepped out of the room. Though he had faced gods, destroyed worlds, and traversed multiverses, this was the first time he felt a different kind of pressure the weight of being a father.
These children weren't ordinary. With power levels of 100,000 from birth and no control over their energy output, even their cries could shatter walls. He couldn't entrust their care to anyone else not even the elite Sadala nurses lest an accidental ki burst injure someone.
On Planet Sadala, Saiyan society had evolved significantly since the collapse of Planet Vegeta in Universe 7. Saiyans here were categorized by roles, and while many still trained for combat, only a select few reached elite status. Most civilian Saiyans hovered at moderate power levels far above Earthlings, but still far below Li Xu or his newborns.
A power level of 100,000 was considered staggering for even adult elite Saiyans. For two newborns to possess such strength was virtually unheard of and dangerous. Li Xu would have to train them early in energy control, or they might accidentally level a city with a sneeze.
Still, he smiled as he walked down the corridor with his children in his arms. This was his legacy now not just a warrior, not just a protector of universes but a father raising the most powerful children ever born in two universes.
