The back mountain under the night sky was tranquil, with jagged rocks and trees slanting sideways. Occasionally, birds flapped their wings and flew by.
"Young Master Qin, shall we check this cave first?"
Xing He turned on his phone, using the light to point at a cave marked with a red dot on the map.
"Hmm, okay."
Qin Yang nodded; this cave was the closest to them.
Five minutes later, the three of them arrived at the cave. The entrance was very small, with moss growing on the stone ground, showing no signs of being walked on.
If that junior master was imprisoned here, surely someone would bring her food, and they would have to bring it from outside and pass it through the entrance.
The three of them moved to the next cave, but it was very shallow; after a few steps, they reached the end, and it didn't look like anyone lived there.
They searched two more caves in succession, all to no avail, and continued forward, already deep in the back mountain.
"This is the last cave."
