Jason drove Mary to school this morning before going to work.
He drove to the police station seeing they called him last night concerning a case.
"Good morning captain Neil."
Jason walked into his office holding two cups of coffee.
"Oh good morning detective Jordan, sit, sit."
Jason offered him a cup of coffee before taking his sit.
"You called last night concerning a kidnapping situation yeah?"
"Yes exactly. A girl had been kidnapped for two months now, kidnappers requesting ransom of 2 billion Naira, the local police didn't allow us investigate the case not until last week that we the state department finally took over by force."
"Any leads or info?"
"Yes. We were able to pinpoint a possible location that the kidnappers will be holding the girl."
"Okay that's great. So why truly did you call me here today sir?"
"The thing is this, the location we got is a cargo ship sailing on uncharted waters and if we handle this case well, it might lead to our resignation."
"So you needed someone who could go under the radar."
"Yes exactly. You won't be going alone, I have five of my officers ready to join you."
"Nahh there'd be no need to risk any of their lives."
"Alright, I am truly greatful detective Jordan."
"You are welcome sir. But I have just one question though."
"Ask away."
"Who really is this girl?"
"Fidelis Alice. Daughter of the billionaire Anthony Fideliis, CEO of Fidelicity."
"Okay now it all makes sense why they request a freaking ransom of 2 billion Naira for the release of one of the AI and fintech billionaires in this country."
"Exactly Jordan. I have emailed you the location and all the info we have, thank you very much and good luck."
"God be with us."
Jason left, entering his car and driving home.
He sat inside the car thinking and going through the details captain Neil sent him.
"Stacy run am analysis on the information and confirm if the location is accurate."
{"On it sir."}
{"The location sir is 90% accurate and the chances of Fideliis Alice being on that ship is over 83%."}
"Alright, then I head out."
{"Are you going as Shadow or Detective Jordan sit?"}
"Oh yeah, I didn't think of that."

A notification came in on Jason's phone and he saw it was a text from Captain Neil, which said.
'No loose ends'
"Ahh, the irony of this world."
"Oh well, for the thrill of it, I'll go in as Detective Jordan."

"Does Jade have a speed boat if I may ask?"
{"Yes sir. She possesses a yacht, speed boat, grand fishing boat as part of her vehicle collection."}
"Damn that's cool."
{"Are you going to steal one of them sir?"}
"Hey, no one's stealing Stacy. I'm just going to borrow it for today."
"It's at the harbour right?"
{"That's correct sir."}
"Lovely. Let's be on our way then."
Driving to the harbour, afternoon came and Jason found the speed boat, got into it and headed out.
Stacy giving him the coordinates of the ship, he sailed there and night met him.
Jason wore a black jacket on top of a black neckless shirt, black trousers and sneakers. Having his guns sheathed by the sides of his waist.
On getting close to the large cargo ship, he stopped the speed boat in a distance relatively far and close to the cargo ship to avoid suspicion and the kidnappers spotting it.
"Alright, let's do this."
Jason then wore a swimsuit, fixed the oxygen tank, carrying a waterproof bag containing his guns and clothes before he dived into the water.
He swam underwater heading for the ship, and when he got to it, he came up to the surface.
On getting to the surface, he stealthily planted bombs on the body of the ship, round.
Using the anchor of the ship he climbed, and into the anchor room of the ship. There he changed to his clothes, got set, and planted a bomb.

Jason sneaking in and out.
He moved silently, evading guards and armed guys.
On getting to the surface of the ship where all the caravans were arranged, Jason was faced with loads of armed forces.
"How many hostiles am I faced with?"
{"23 sir, and I pick up two heat signatures on the deck"}
"Okay so I just have to takeout the hostiles here and then the main guy in the deck and get the girl before I blow up the ship."
{"You have to avoid getting seen to avoid risking the life of the girl."}
"That's why you ain't human Stacy."
"These guys are just broke haters of Fidelis who want to see the fall of him and also sees him as an opportunity to make some cool cash.
"The girl is their leverage and keeping her alive is the only way for them to succeed in getting that ransom."
"They aren't terrorists, only terrorists will do that."
{"Sorry to interrupt your heartfelt speech sir, but they are actually terrorists."}
"No way!"
Jason exclaimed as he listened and hearing the thugs talk, they weren't speaking English, but Arabic.
"Okay Stacy, concluding that they are terrorists because they speak Arabic is pretty racist."
'Oi! We've had this girl for two months now, if the ransom doesn't come in a week time, boss is going to smoke the girl'
"Don't say it Stacy, don't."
{"I told you so."}
"Arrgghhhhhh!"
Jason scoffed, then chuckled before taking a deep breath.
He adjusted his smartwatch and then tapped the screen as it flowed.
Nanobots appearing as liquid metal flowing out as the watch dissolved and began covering his body—
From arms to chest, flowing to legs, covering the other arm, before lastly his head. The 'S' symbol on his chest glowed white as his suit hummed with a silent sound.
Guns, by the sides of the waist, utility belt fixed, swords sheathed on the back.
There were few lights on, but the area was masked with darkness, and so, Shadow moved.
Steps silent like the night, movements as smooth as water, Shadow began taking out the terrorists one by one, stealthily.
Knocking them out without killing them as he moved.
But—
BANG!
Shadow turned around and with speed he caught the bullet fired by a terrorist.
"Seriously?"
The terrorist yelled in Arabic non stop, making noise.
Shadow took out his left gun and blew the brains out of the terrorist.
"Nobody heard that right?"
'Find and kill Shadow!'
{"No sir, nobody did."}
"God, I so hate you Stacy."
Shadow then walked out to a better open space presenting himself before the entire terrorist group and they all came together.
"Good evening gentlemen,"
The moonlight shone on him, giving off a dark vibe.
"The easy way or the hard way."
They all cocked their guns and aimed at Shadow.
"The hard way I guess."
BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!
All firing at Shadow without hesitation and with the intention of killing him.
But, there will always be a but—
Motion slowed down.
Shadow wearing a dubious smile behind the mask grabbed the grips of his swords tightly and took a running stance.
WHOOOOOOSSSSSHHHHH!
Motion resumed it's pace, Shadow suddenly appeared by the door of the deck where the main terrorist was standing still.
Then—
SLICE! SLICE! DICE! DICE! SLICEEEEEE!!!!
"Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"
All the terrorists gave out in pain, as they all got sliced and stabbed. Blood flowing like water, bodies filling the ground.
"Knock knock."
Shadow said as he walked into the room to see the leader of the terrorist group aiming his gun at Alice's head.
"2 billion bruh? Maybe if you had gone for something lesser her daddy would have paid, but nah you were dumb and greedy."
Shadow walking towards them slowly.
"Come any closer and I kill the girl."
"You know I can kill you while you speak and you won't get a chance to touch her."
"Prove it."
The leader spoke arrogantly as Alice knelt down shivering with fear and crying. She indeed was just a little 8 year old.
"Done."
Shadow responded as he held and showed the gun of the terrorist leader in his hand showcasing it.
"H-how did you—"
"Like this."
Shadow suddenly wind up in his front and punched him in the face knocking him out.
Moving to carry Alice she shifted back and he saw she was scared of him.
"Hey don't be afraid, it's alright I won't hurt you."
Shadow then deactivated his mask showing his face to Alice.
"You see I'm just a friendly guy here to save you."
"O-o-okay Shadow."
"Oh you know my name."
He carried her as he began walking out of the deck.
"You are the superhero on TV."
Alice holding him tight and close.
"Yes, but hey, our little secret promise?"
"Promise."
Shadow then ran back to the speed boat, deactivated his suit and began sailing away.
"Oh yeah before I forget."
He tapped his watch and immediately—
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!
The ship blew to pieces as they sailed away.
The next day met them on the waters, and eventually Jason brought Alice home.
He was thanked, paid by her father even though he tried to reject the money, eventually took it.
He then finally decided to go home seeing he hadn't slept since the previous night.
"Hey Mary you gone to school yet?!"
"No Jay, where have you been since?"
Mary responding from her room upstairs as she was coming down, when suddenly something strange happened.
"Mary!"
Jason screamed out as she ran down to see that a purple portal opened up on the ceiling and Jason was being sucked into it.
"Jason! What's happening?!"
"You asking me? I don't know, I'm getting sucked into only God knows what!"
Mary held his hand, but the pull of the portal was greater than her hold.
And before they both knew it, Jason got sucked in as the portal closed.
"Jason! Jason!! Jason!!!"
