* Basic Premise
To help clear up any early confusion, here's a quick breakdown of the core concept behind this story:
- Victoria (originally Suzuki) is a girl from modern-day Earth who has been transmigrated into the world of a novel she once read. She now inhabits the body of the character Victoria, an "ice princess" noblewoman engaged to the crown prince.
- Marcus (Aka Silas), our protagonist, was transmigrated into a game world he played as a child. That game is actually based on the same novel Victoria read but with her being transmigrated to that novel and is the protagonist of the game.
(TLDR: Suzuki is also a game character)
- Maria was the original protagonist of the novel Victoria read. But in the game Marcus played, Maria could become the antagonist in certain endings.
This overlapping setup creates a tangled web of perspectives—where Victoria has knowledge from the original novel, and Marcus has insight from the game, both offering different interpretations of the same world.
* Summary of the Original Novel & Game Plot
In the original novel:
- Victoria (pre-Suzuki) is a classic "ice princess" character—emotionally distant, elegant, and cold. She is engaged to the crown prince for political reasons.
- The Prince does not care much for her due to her cold demeanor and is instead drawn to Maria, the sweet, warm-hearted protagonist.
- Maria is the heroine of the story, while Victoria is portrayed more as a noble obstacle.
However, now that:
- Suzuki has taken over Victoria's body, her sudden change in personality grabs the prince's attention.
- Maria, who once held the spotlight, is now somewhat sidelined.
From Marcus's perspective (based on the game):
- Maria's role isn't always positive—in some routes, she can become the antagonist, depending on player choices.
This sets up a love triangle filled with shifting loyalties, political schemes, and romantic tension.
* Genre & Themes
This story blends romance, political intrigue, and action with a layered character-driven narrative. While Marcus is a highly capable (yes, overpowered) protagonist, I aim to keep the characters emotionally grounded, avoiding generic or overly cliché personalities.
You can expect:
- Meaningful romantic development
- Subtle interpersonal tension
- Strategic action and plot twists tied to Marcus's game knowledge
- And occasional humor and banter to balance the intensity
So don't get too surprised when the action takes a backseat.
* A Note from the Author
I'm still relatively new to writing fiction, so I'm continuously improving as I go. I welcome any and all feedback—constructive criticism helps me grow and shape the story into something even better.
Thank you so much for reading. I hope you enjoy the journey, and please be patient as both the story and my writing style evolve over time.
