Now, for those who have read this far, I want to thank you for reading this far, and I sincerely hope you enjoy it as much as I'm enjoying writing it.
I've been reading different Naruto fanfictions for a while now. After watching one or two, this idea always pops into my head, and I wanted to see it come to life myself. So, here I am, sharing it.
This was an interesting arc to write. I actually found the experience to be something I really enjoyed. Even though I admit I'm not 100% happy with how I put this arc together. Even with the chunin exams, I wanted to lengthen things up. I closed the arc a bit too quickly, and many of the fights I put together were quick. I don't believe in putting together extremely long fights. The only exception to this was Hinata's fight against Neji. I was very satisfied with that chapter and how it ended.
Regarding Michel, I had originally set it up so that he actually sacrificed himself to help Hinata grow, but I considered and ended up leaving him only in the Silver Word. It seemed to me that giving Hinata more emotional losses than necessary was cruel, even though the situation I'm presenting is strange and extreme in many cases.
Regarding the story, my original idea was to keep it similar but different from the original, at least at the start. mainly because I think it had very memorable moments that were worth maintaining, and because it gives me a solid foundation for a world that the readers are familiar with, and I'm familiar with myself, so I can try to do my own thing.
I do have interesting plans for the future, and I don't know how they'll turn out as I put things together. I know where I want the story to end, I know how I want Hinata's character to evolve, and I have a clear objective for what I know will be the end of the story. What I don't know, and I'm dying to find out, is what will happen in the middle. I hope you all have the same doubts, my dear readers.
This is the end of the first story arc.
