Eric finally decided to end his conversation with Cassey. The latter was clinging to his leg and he did not mind. He stood straight and turned to Axel, saying, "You will stay here. Protect them. Help them gather only food. You will carry all the burden."
"I will help too, Big Brother!"
"It's Eric." Eric smiled, patting the head of Cassey. "You don't have to strain your body. Later, I will assign you a mission, so you will be a big help to me."
"Thank you, Big Brother!" Cassey's eyes sparkled in excitement.
Eric nodded, watching Cassey slowly detached herself from his leg. He turned to Zoe and nodded at them, walking on the window on the left. Cassey guided him, opened the window, and jumped over, facing a wall as high as him. He jumped and crossed, followed by Zoe and others, leaving behind Axel inside the window, watching them in silence.
