The knock at the door startled everyone as they suspected it was an actual member of the cult trying to get in contact with them.
They turned to look at the hero, who was sitting very close to the window and away from their small gathering.
Alister had just closed his character status, he turned to meet the crew's worried gaze fixed on him. He could easily tell that they were panicking.
Fear flickered in their eyes, betraying their concern.
The hero sighed and walked over to the door after signaling the others to remain composed.
Alister opened the door and was greeted by the visage of a 6'2" dark-robed fella, his face covered with a mask just like the other cultists strolling around.
The mask was ornate and ominous in its design.
"It's me, Peterson."
The familiar voice of the arrogant assassin escaped from the tall fella, only then did Alister let his guard down.
"Is it time yet?" he asked in a soft tone.
