Her once platinum-silver hair had been stained black by the corrosive demonic miasma she now possessed, and her formerly crystalline pupils had turned red, the remaining parts of her eyes veiled in shadow.
"Don't think I'm still helpless, sister," Isabella said, bracing for a counterattack, only for her entire sense of reality to shatter as a presence deliberately slipped into her awareness.
"But you are, aren't you? Otherwise, you wouldn't have felt so inferior to me." Anica appeared behind her and whispered into her ear, still suspended in the air.
"Screw you."
Isabella swiftly turned and directed a glowing red magic circle toward where Anica stood. With a single swing of Anica's staff, Isabella was hurled into the wall, her body erupting in waves of unbearable pain.
