The night was too quiet, too silent. After he had carefully walked Katherine to her room door, lingering a little, watching her close the door behind her.
Aaron blinked, his feet shuffling at the door before he walked to his room with a deep breath. He couldn't wait for the day both of them would finally be together.
Back in his room, his room was silent. Aaron lay sprawled on his bed, one arm behind his head while the other was on his stomach. His eyes were fixed on the ceiling like it held the solution to the knot in his chest.

He blinked, the reflection of the full moon coming through the window, lighting the room. But everything just reminded him of her.
