A/N: I had nothing to do the whole day so I somehow wrote 9 chapters throughout the day - I'm even working on the 10th right now so I thought I'll give em the chapter early rather than wait until I wake up tomorrow. Enjoy.

Aurora's Pov:
–Begin–
'What the fuck do I do?'
(Isn't it obvious? Just use the Honkai energy. Supercharge your cells and rush towards him aiming to destabilise the electrons around his atoms. Easy.) Her tone is that of someone talking to a child.
Easy for Alter to say, Aurora couldn't even use Honkai energy, let alone destabilise atoms.
'How do I even do that? I've never used it before.'
(What do you mean, you've never used it? You did it yesterday when running from that Elysia woman.) Alter would smack Aurora behind the head if she could at that stupid statement.
'D-did I? How?'
(Why are you asking me, you did it yesterday just do what you did back then but focus this time… Or just give me control. I'll show you.) It wasn't that she didn't want to, she just didn't know how to explain it to Aurora. It was instinctive to her, not something she had to learn how to do.
'NO! Never again, you would have destroyed the city had it not been for him. You said just do what I did last right?' Aurora shut Alter down instantly. Letting Alter take control would be a big mistake, she may even end up dead this time.
(Ugh, I wouldn't do that okay. I already told you, that voice made me do it. I don't even want to kill anyone right now… Except for those clowns up top.) She grumbled at the end.
'What was that?! You just muttered something dangerous didn't you?' She exclaimed.
Alter had to cover her ears as for some reason Aurora's voice was forced into her mind. (Jeez, calm down would you. Haven't you noticed you've been using Honkai energy this whole time?) Alter made sure to point out that little fact at the end to get Aurora off her back.
'Huh?' She stopped talking to Alter and went back to watching her surroundings. Everything did seem… Slow. Glancing up to the observation deck she saw the sleeve of Mobius's coat move imperceptibly. She even looked at the eyes of some of the councillors for a few seconds and saw that none blinked.
It was then she saw a small slow streak of purple lightning crackle around. She was surrounded by several of these purple streaks. The way the air blurred, affected by the heat of each streak.
Aurora was pulled out of her analysis when she noticed some movement out the corner of her eye, It was Thor. He was walking towards her at a normal steady pace, as if he wasn't moving beyond the speed of sound.
He stopped in front of her and time started to catch up. Sound became less muffled, movements returning to normal, as multiple sonic booms spread out across the hall.
The rush of air pressure almost had her caught up in it. That is if she hadn;t instinctively magnetised herself to the ground.
Thor gave her a head pat. Her heart skipped. Not from the pain, but from the touch—warm, heavy. Her knees didn't buckle, but it was close.
"You've got a lot to learn. Don't worry though –" He kindly smiled at her "– I'll make sure to train you well."
The colour drained from her face, regardless that he was patting her.

Normal Pov:
"Oh?" Mobius and Klein didn't have much of a reaction, as they had seen Elysia perform a similar display of speed before, but he was a lot faster that's for sure.
"W-w-what just happened?!" The same couldn't be said for the remaining councillors present. Not understanding what just transpired, many fell back on their asses.
Elysia could see what happened, but she knew one thing for sure. 'If he used that speed against me – the fight would've ended instantly." She knew he held back against her, but she didn't expect him to hold back this much.

Inside the observation deck
The councillors had left the moment Thor left the hall, followed by Elysia and the red-faced, but terrified Aurora.
Right this moment however, the room consisted of 1 Mobius, who was gazing at Thor as if trying to discover all his secrets. 1 Klein off to the side going through some of the combat data. Finally, 1 Thor. leaned back in his chair drinking some coffee. He was trying what Himeko had gotten earlier and wondered, 'How the hell does she drink this bitter stuff.' He vanished for a second reappearing with a carton of milk and a pack of sugar. He adds what he needs before stirring and giving it a taste nodding to himself. 'Much better.'
Elysia and Aurora had some things to attend to. Elysia had a nearby mission to do and Aurora had to go for a psych eval. 'Thor knew that the evaluator will be going into therapy after that.
"Thor." Mobius disregarded his casual action that should be impossible.
"Ahh~ Yeah." After taking a refreshing sip of his better coffee. He knew Mobius wanted to get down to business.
"What are you?" She questioned flatly. To Thor it almost felt insulting.
"What do you mean Boss I'm just your just above average human." Going back to his coffee after answering her.
Her lip twitched, her right eye doing the same. 'He's as bad as her. It makes sense why they did that.' She justified his actions by using his link to Elysia as an excuse.
Seeing her not letting him off today. He gave her something, "I might just be a little special. It's not like I could obliterate the solar system by simply letting my power run wild or anything." He chuckled, eyes glittering with mischief.
Mobius knew that while he sounded joking, he most likely told the truth. She snaps her fingers at Klein getting her to put down what Thor just said into his file.
His lips parted at that, he planned to say something, but he just left it as is. It technically wasn't a lie. He could do that. It'd just require his life and soul itself to cause destruction on that scale.
"Sigh. I'm just a guy who trained, got stronger, fought, fought some more, trained some more, now I'm here.
That's the most I'm willing to share."
Her mind went into overdrive. Dissecting what he said exactly, creating a timeline of his possible growth, the only issue being. How? How did he get this strong with training and fighting? Who did he fight? They only know he fought the third and that's it. Did he have a teacher of some sort?
Many questions, too little information, too little time. Mobius was in a very awkward position right now. Usually she could just order it or do something and get what she wanted.
Thor however, is different from the rest. She can;t overpower him, threats don't work, he cares little or none at all for authority and there's not much else she could possibly do to get info from him other than being civil, specifically as civil as she can be.
Knowing she won't get anything more for now she left it there, for now.
From afternoon to evening Thor, Mobius and Klein spent time discussing results, making theories, and doing small easy tests. They even went to her lab and did a few tests on his blood for the few minutes she could at a time before it disintegrated.

Training grounds
"Ow" Aurora was rubbing her back as Thor in their last session used her own lightning against her – Again, much to Alter's annoyance that they fell for it twice now, once from both of them.
He had literally caught her ball of plasma and took a pitchers stance and pitched it to her. Once it reached her it vanished before she felt the searing pain through her back.
"Why are you going so hard on me? You weren't like this a week ago." Thinking back to how he did nothing but appear in front of her. He even patted her head at the time, much to her embarrassment and Alter's amusement.
Throughout the past week. Thor and Aurora have been training together for 3 hours a day. In this time she had learned much more about herself and the powers she had.
Starting with the essentials. Manipulating Honkai energy consciously, after that she focused on using Honkai energy to enhance her body. Once she learnt this and managed to combine it with her supercharged cells and lightning her speed multiplied so much that Thor was forced to use his own lightning to outmatch her.
While she knew it accomplished a lot. Once Thor used his own lightning to increase his speed, it was back to how it was before, him vanishing from her sight, too quick for her eye's to even catch. That day a new training hall had to be built as the old one couldn't take the intensity from their sessions.
She was proud of her most recent ability. Plasma. While not anywhere near as good as Thor's or even what Alter could make when she first spawned.
By simply stripping the electrons from atoms in the air she could create plasma almost anywhere on earth with ease.
"It's simple. You've learned more, and now teaching you requires harder training." He explained simply.
"Now take the stance I taught you. This is the last day you have to learn it otherwise a punishment awaits." A grin tugging the ends of his lips.
Aurora shivered, not out of just fear, but some anticipation as well. Alter saw this chance and teased her. (Ohh. A punishment. That means being bent over his knee and being spanked right? Right??) Alter's voice was a little too excited at the end.
Aurora remembered the day she almost lost control again. And while Alter wouldn't have done anything when she gained control the devastation it would leave was enough to warrant punishment.
(Please let me have control of this. I–I uh, will take the punishment for you. You'll feel nothing okay~.)
'No. You don't have to, I'll t–take it. I–it's my mistake after all.' She tried to sound serious but her thoughts cracked a little.
(Fufufu. Sure, sure whatever you say Aura. Your sacrifice will not be in vain.) The teasing tone left Aurora a blushing mess.

Institute 5 Plaza
After finishing a prior weapons test with Mobius and Mei. He was heading to his room to clean up for date night with Elysia tonight. It was Friday after all.
Coming out of the lab building, he suddenly heard a voice behind him.
"Mr Arawnsson!" A young girl wearing a blue qipao with black pants, ran up to him. Stopping before him, giving a small bow.
"Evening Hua." He waved her off.
Fu Hua. A girl Himeko had found among the survivors in Sapphire city. She was the first to step forward to ask about a friend of hers. Unfortunately, that same friend was in the building next to the point of the outbreak.
Hua's response was an experience to say the least. She rushed out of the building pursued by Himeko, found the nearest seraph-class honkai beast and started attacking it. Himeko had to save the poor girl from getting herself killed.
After the events of the outbreak Hua pestered Himeko to join Moth. Himeko took her on, but has been putting off giving the girl an answer for a month.
"I can't seem to find Himeko. She told me I'll be accepted today for the academy." Momentarily her eyes darted to the plaza hoping to spot Himeko by her favourite coffee place.
"Did she know?" He scanned the area and found Himeko sleeping in her quarters. He watched Hua, catching the nervousness in her eyes. 'She's worried she won't get in.'
"Tell you what. If you can answer my question right here, right now. I'll get you accepted right now." Giving her a small test.
"You can do that!?" A flicker of confusion passed over her face.
'Isn't he just the assistant director? Can he even do it?'
"Of course I can, I might not look at it, but I am technically the most valuable member of FireMoth."
Hua didn't believe his words.
"Sigh, it doesn't matter if you believe just answer the question and you'll be in. Simple right?"
She fixed her gaze on him, a glimmer of hope passing through her eyes.
"How old are you?" His expression didn't shift from the serious look on his face.
'That's it?? That's the question? Why does he even need to know that?'
"Uhh, 15."
"15. So young yet wants to fight the world's enemy." He scanned her up and down. Studied her biology using a combination of life energy and a couple analysis runes.
His actions would go unnoticed other than his furrowed brow. 'Some potential. Not much for a human of my time, but she has a lot of it in martial arts. Too bad, she wouldn't be able to achieve that level of power as a normal human.
That is, if she stays fully human.' He was thinking of Mobius and how her strength had increased dramatically. Even though she is a non-combatant she could still deal with Knight-Class beasts with relative ease.
'If we complete the integration of Honkai and humans, we could make a small army of strong fusion warriors.'
"Fu Hua. If I accept you into Moth as a soldier. You'll be trained, sent on missions with death rates in the 30s and up. You'll be against the most dangerous beings known to man. Are you sure you want to join?"
"Yes" Instant.
"Okay. You begin training tomorrow. Just tell Hime I sent you. She'll train you well." He walked off, he still had an hour until his date. More than enough time to do some solo training.

A/N:
The Birb has appeared. As you can see time is going to start passing fast so we can get to the fourth eruption.
Also the next few chapters are one split up larger chapter, you'll be able to tell pretty easily where I split them, I wanted to do a few cliffhanger-kun stuff.
