Chapter 147 - Chapter 147: Jehfrit – They Care About You a Lot

"Jehfrit-kun!"

Miss.1 leapt onto Jehfrit's back, hugging him tightly and speaking in an overly familiar tone.

"Have you made up your mind yet?"

"Do you want to take me with you?"

Before Jehfrit could respond,

A loud shout came from outside.

"Get your hands off him!" Tiffany clenched her fists and charged toward them.

However, the distance between them was vast—it was merely a two-way virtual live broadcast.

Moreover, she was entangled by numerous enemies.

"What is this guy Jehfrit doing?" Natsu muttered.

Everyone else was equally baffled.

Who was this woman?

Why did she seem so familiar with Jehfrit?

Especially Ikuto, who hacked down enemies faster and faster with each swing of her blade.

Damn it!

Where did this person come from?

She hadn't even done something like that to the boss!

"Hmm?" Miss.1 tilted her head curiously, then pointed at the battlefield.

"The adult woman using a sword… the girl with a sword… the half-elf… the girl using Dragon Slayer Magic…"

"These five care about you deeply."

"If you don't agree soon, I'll kill them."

"Hmph." Jehfrit sneered. "Miss.1, you're not invincible either."

"Then let's test that. I hope you won't regret it."

"A gamble?" Jehfrit suggested.

"What are we betting on?" Miss.1 asked curiously.

"If you can't kill even one of them, I win, and you kill One. If you manage to kill anyone, you win, and I'll take you home," Jehfrit stated.

After all, Miss.1 was already under his complete control. No matter how strong she was, if he commanded her to kneel, she would kneel instantly!

"All right—" Miss.1 grinned happily.

Boom

Her figure disappeared in an instant.

Not long after, she reappeared on the battlefield.

"Let's start with you." Miss.1 appeared beside Emily, pulling out a long blade and swinging it in a lethal arc.

Splash

A giant toad bit down on Emily, attempting to retreat underground.

But Miss.1 accelerated her attack!

Slash

Before the toad could fully submerge, she slashed it mid-retreat. A shallow wound appeared on its belly—deep enough to draw blood but not life-threatening.

"Not bad defense," Miss.1 praised before giving chase.

"Yasha Flash Void!" Ikuto's attack arrived.

"Pretty fast," Miss.1 commented as she turned and blocked Ikuto's blade with her own.

Then, Miss.1 drew a short sword and thrust it toward Ikuto.

"Destruction: Forest Fire Fist!" Tiffany joined the fray.

Miss.1 hesitated to block directly and retreated, but her foot sank into a swamp.

"Huh? Deception Magic?" Miss.1 looked surprised.

"No Moon Style—Garuda Flame!"

"Shatter: Mountain Stone Fist."

Ikuto and Tiffany launched a combined assault, knowing this woman was extremely dangerous—her speed unmatched, her blade razor-sharp.

Swish swish swish

In an instant, Miss.1 unleashed over a hundred slashes, deflecting their attacks. She then flipped backward, temporarily escaping their encirclement.

Standing firm, she smiled. "Hello, sisters. I'm Jehfrit's beloved slave. I originally planned for him to agree to take me home so I could betray the Roya organization and fight alongside you."

"But alas—" Miss.1 feigned wiping away invisible tears, looking pitiful. "He insisted on making a bet, claiming I couldn't kill any of you."

"If I succeed, he promised to take me home."

"So, I'm sorry—"

Miss.1 sighed dramatically. "If possible, I'd love to get along with you all."

With a spin, she changed into a tight-fitting combat suit.

In her left hand, she held a green short sword; in her right, a red long blade.

"I only specialize in two types of magic. My right hand controls speed, my left sharpness."

"You… be careful."

Whoosh

In an instant, Miss.1 appeared behind Ikuto.

"So fast!" Ikuto's heart raced as she swung her blade back, but it was too late!

Swish

A red orb enveloped Ikuto.

Boom

Miss.1 sliced through the red orb effortlessly.

Tiffany's face paled as she cursed inwardly: Damn you, Jehfrit, adding more trouble for us!

She had barely recovered from being drained of blood and magic by Jehfrit just days ago. Her strength was far from halfway restored, yet she was forced to fight again.

Using the red orb had saved Ikuto just now.

Tiffany already felt weak and dizzy.

"No Moon Style—" Emily began drawing her blade, but Miss.1 appeared in front of her instantly.

"Emily, this isn't your fight," Tiffany chased after Miss.1, throwing a punch at her back.

Miss.1 frowned slightly, hesitating for a moment before deciding to trade blows for a kill.

Even if this half-elf was powerful, her punch wouldn't obliterate her outright.

As long as she survived the blow, it would be worth it.

But just as she prepared to strike, a shield enveloped Emily.

Clang

Miss.1's blade struck the shield, causing her pupils to contract.

The same force rebounded!

Crap, she'd been tricked!

The rebounding force combined with Tiffany's attack formed a deadly pincer maneuver!

Miss.1 quickly shifted sideways, but the rebounding force clashed with her body, immobilizing half of her limbs!

Boom

Tiffany's fist struck her unguarded right shoulder, sending her spinning through the air.

"Lami!" Emily, unharmed, cried out.

"I'm fine, Miss Emily," Lami's voice was weak.

"This shield is—"

"Yes, it's a reflection magic. I can only use it twice, Miss Emily. Miss Tiffany is right—you shouldn't stay here," the giant toad Lami said gently.

When Jehfrit created her, he bestowed upon her three magics:

Reflection, Burrowing, and Mana Sharing.

Among them, burrowing was the most practical. When faced with insurmountable attacks, she could swallow someone whole and dive underground.

Mana Sharing allowed her to resist negative magical effects.

And reflection magic was nearly as impenetrable as Miko's Absolute Defense—but at a cost. For Miko, such energy expenditure was trivial. For Lami, however, it required sacrificing her life force. In her lifetime, she could only use this magic three times.

She had already used it once.

Two uses remained, and Miss.1 had interrupted her burrowing earlier, cutting through Lami's formidable defenses with ease.

Such overwhelming power wasn't something Emily could contend with.

Emily wasn't foolish. Knowing she'd only slow them down, she allowed Lami to carry her away to the rear.

She didn't leave the battlefield entirely. At this point, compared to No Moon Style techniques, the support effects of Deception Magic were proving more useful.

Meanwhile, Jehfrit continued whispering instructions, rapidly increasing Emily's proficiency with Deception Magic.

"Truly remarkable technology," Roya marveled at the near-invincible reflection magic. He sighed wistfully, "Pity it consumes so much energy."

"To gain great power, one must pay a price," Jehfrit remarked.

"Indeed. But don't underestimate Miss.1 either. She paid a steep price to achieve her current strength," Roya added.

On the battlefield,

Miss.1 rubbed her shoulder as she climbed out of the rubble.

"You've got some skill. Time to get serious," Miss.1 spat out a mouthful of blood and took a deep breath.

"Release!"

"Panther King!"

Boom

A terrifying surge of magical energy erupted.

All eyes turned toward her.

"Hahaha, you're finished! Miss.1 is angry now!" Mr.4 laughed maniacally.

"Don't let her appearance fool you—among us, Miss.1 is the strongest!" Mr.2 declared.

"You'll have casualties soon enough," Mr.1 smirked.

"Demonization isn't the same as Mirajane's magic," Jehfrit observed Miss.1.

Mirajane's was Take Over Magic.

Miss.1, however, was half-human, half-demon, akin to a Dragon Slayer activating Dragon Force.

At this moment,

Miss.1 transformed into a sleek, white panther-like demoness. Her body was perfectly proportioned, muscles compact rather than bulky, with striking tendons.

Her claws, elbows, and knees bristled with purple blades.

Her snake-like purple tail exuded lethal intent.

Her cheeks, forehead, and neck were covered in exoskeletal armor.

Parting her lips slightly revealed four razor-sharp fangs.

"Here I come!"

So fast!

Tiffany's heart skipped a beat. Nearly a hundred meters away, yet Miss.1 closed the distance in the blink of an eye!

This wasn't the deceptive speed magic of Oración Seis' Racer. This was true speed magic!

Clang

Ikuto raised her sword to block, but Miss.1

's short sword cut straight through, splitting Ikuto's blade in two!

Miss.1 wielded two weapons: the long blade for speed, the short sword for sharpness. The long blade struck first, its incredible speed oppressive, followed by the short sword's unpredictable strikes, leaving her opponents defenseless!

Tiffany conjured a stone chain and hurled it at Miss.1.

Miss.1 tapped her toe lightly, retreating gracefully.

Boom

Another surge of terrifying magical energy erupted!

"Hahaha—"

"My big sister has gone all out. How can I fall behind?"

"Let's see who takes out their opponent first!"

"Release!"

Laughing wildly, Mr.4 fighting Erza entered demon form!

"Lion King!"

Demonized Mr.4 stood nearly three meters tall, his massive frame shaking the earth as he threw a punch.

"Feel my vibration magic, fairies!"

Rumble rumble

Everyone was affected by the sudden tremors, especially Erza, who bore the brunt of the vibrations.

These terrifying oscillations formed immense pressure, closing in from all directions.

It was like standing next to a colossal speaker at zero distance—a tremendous strain on their internal organs!

"Naturally, I'll be the first!" Mr.6 battling Mirajane laughed arrogantly.

"Release!"

"Eagle King!" A two-meter-tall eagle demon emerged.

"Everyone's releasing their forms? Then I can't lag behind," Mr.2 punched Natsu flying, kicked Gajeel aside, and shrugged off Wendy's roar before entering demon form.

"Release!"

"Elephant King!"

"You cripple, die!" Mr.3 roared. "Release—Crocodile King!"

Only Mr.1 addressed Laxus smugly: "You're not worthy of my release."

"Heh." Laxus sneered.

Jehfrit glanced toward the Thunder Legion's side.

They were at a disadvantage.

Mr.5 was pressing hard against the Thunder Legion.

"Aza, go have some fun," Jehfrit instructed.

"Yes, Master." Mirror Demon Aza responded.

Boom

A muscular figure suddenly descended from the sky.

Aza merged seamlessly into the body of the man, achieving perfect fusion!

Boom

Aza's magical energy surged.

He locked onto Mr.5, taking a single step forward. Explosive force propelled him instantly behind Mr.5.

Oh no!

Mr.5 was shocked, turning to defend but still getting slammed by a massive force.

"Release—Wolf King!" Mr.5 transformed mid-air.

"You deal with the captains," Aza told Freed. "He's mine."

"Understood." Freed nodded.

There were still eighteen captain-level enemies, not to be underestimated!

Moreover, Jehfrit had mentioned they each had two or three clones, effectively granting them extra lives.

Thankfully, with Master Makarov's assistance, Fairy Tail managed to hold their ground despite the enemy's numerical advantage.

But the return of the Thunder Legion broke the balance.

Freed devised a plan: Better to sever one finger than bruise ten. Take one out first!

"Truly impressive, the renowned Fairy Tail," Roya remarked. "Your strength is formidable."

"Your Roya organization isn't weak either," Jehfrit replied.

"Of course not. Unlike you, Jehfrit—I trust myself completely," Roya said.

"Ho ho." Jehfrit chuckled.

Both possessed exceptional research capabilities.

Roya trusted himself entirely, channeling all his research into equipping his team, cultivating numerous strong individuals.

Jehfrit, however, was the opposite.

Roya felt envy—his notebook revealed Jehfrit's extraordinary talent, far surpassing his own, perhaps even unparalleled. Yet Jehfrit rarely used his gifts to aid his companions.

This was natural.

Roya didn't understand, but Jehfrit did.

The Roya organization and Fairy Tail weren't comparable.

The Roya organization served Roya's selfish desires.

Fairy Tail was different. Its members came from diverse backgrounds, each with unique dreams and reasons for learning magic. They sought a place called home, pursuing aspirations that varied widely.

Jehfrit refrained from interfering with their choices. He ensured their survival but left their paths—including magical growth—to their own efforts!

Of course, there were unavoidable exceptions, such as Happy's card deck, Lucy's sphere transformation, or Natsu's fusion with Jehfrit's magical energy.

Overall, though, Jehfrit avoided excessive interference.

"Pant pant pant—"

Natsu caught his breath.

"This guy's tough," Gray muttered, climbing to his feet.

"Yeah, no wonder he's an elephant—his body's incredibly sturdy," Gajeel twisted his arm. His shoulder had taken a heavy stomp earlier, sustaining some injury.

"Huff—" Wendy inhaled deeply.

"I've got an idea!" Natsu suddenly clapped his hands.

Everyone turned to him.

Even Mr.2 looked curious, wondering what Natsu would come up with to defeat him.

"Can anyone turn into a mouse and crawl into his nose?" Natsu suggested.

"?????" Everyone stared at him blankly.

Natsu explained: "Jehfrit said elephants are terrified of mice crawling into their noses."

"..." Everyone was speechless.

"Are you an idiot?" Mr.2 couldn't help but comment.

"You bastard!" Natsu flared up instantly, charging at the Elephant King.

The next second, he was sent flying by the Elephant King's swinging trunk.

"Heaven Dragon's Roar!" Wendy released a relatively gentle gust of wind to catch Natsu mid-air.

Natsu used the momentum to spin and charge back.

Gray and Gajeel followed suit.
