Chapter 16 - Office

When Teacher Ageo heard Teacher Yoshinaga say that the principal had scared them to tears this morning, she suddenly seemed to think of something. She turned her head and looked at Teacher Yoshinaga, who was busy with her work, and said softly:

"The principal went to see them today. I wonder how many will refuse to come to the kindergarten tomorrow."

After hearing what Teacher Ageo said, Teacher Yoshinaga stopped the work at hand. She unconsciously remembered that it was the same on the second day last year.

Later, on the third day, seven or eight children still refused to come, so they had to refund the tuition and go to other kindergartens.

Teacher Ageo saw that Teacher Yoshinaga didn't say anything, and knew that she probably remembered the incident last year. She narrowed her eyes and said to Teacher Yoshinaga:

"I bet that there will be 80% no less than this number tomorrow." As soon as she finished speaking, Teacher Ageo raised her right hand, pointed her index finger at Teacher Yoshinaga, and shook it.

Teacher Yoshinaga came back to her senses, turned around, and saw Teacher Ageo shaking her index finger in the air, and slapped her hand away speechlessly: "Come on, Masumi, it's the same as not betting at all."

Teacher Ageo observed Teacher Yoshinaga slap her hand away, stand up, remove her glasses, and place them on the table, chuckling to show how good she felt.

Seeing this, Teacher Yoshinaga seemed to have thought of something; her face began to turn slightly red, and she quickly changed the subject:

"By the way, Masumi, did anything interesting happen in your class today?"

Teacher Yoshinaga's words interrupted Teacher Ageo's next move.

Teacher Ageo put her glasses back on, moved her chair next to Teacher Yoshinaga, and excitedly said to her:

"Wait! You know about Tsuna, right?" Teacher Ageo asked, pausing for Teacher Yoshinaga's response.

Teacher Yoshinaga rolled her eyes to the sky and stared into Teacher Ageo's eyes speechlessly, as if to say, "What do you think?" Teacher Ageo

Looked at Teacher Yoshinaga's lively expression and realized how outrageous her previous thoughtless words were.

"Ahem!" Teacher Ageo coughed lightly, regained her composure, and continued, "Do you know what the relationship is between Tsuna and Shoko!?"

Teacher Yoshinaga didn't know the answer to this question. After thinking for a while, she was about to say the word "relatives" when she was interrupted by Teacher Ageo, who couldn't wait for her answer:

"They are childhood friends! Childhood sweethearts! Do you know? If nothing unexpected happens, the two of them can walk from kindergarten to the palace of marriage!"

Teacher Ageo was about to shout out the last sentence. She was afraid that Teacher Yoshinaga would not believe her guess, so she took out her mobile phone and flipped through the photos in the chat history with Mis. Miyamura.

Teacher Ageo clicked on the photo of Shoko holding Tsuna for a nap, and excitedly rushed to Teacher Yoshinaga.

Teacher Yoshinaga glanced at the photo and thought Teacher Ageo's idea seemed a bit unrealistic. She opened her mouth to ask Teacher Ageo to calm down.

"Masumi, please calm down for a moment. You are acting like those perverts. There are many unexpected and unknown factors in the future, and we don't know if their relationship can last until high school."

Teacher Ageo felt that Teacher Yoshinaga was right, but she believed in her instincts. It would be useless to say more now that they were only in kindergarten. She could only wait until they got married before she could mock her.

"Huh!" After finishing her brainstorming session, Teacher Ageo snorted at Teacher Yoshinaga, then stood up, moved the chair back to its original position, and continued to work on her materials.

Teacher Yoshinaga saw the childish look of Teacher Ageo, smiled softly with a gentle look, and continued his work.

The next day, Shizuka sent the two to Futaba Kindergarten as usual, but this time she only sent them to the kindergarten gate and left. Before leaving, she patted Tsuna's little head and said to him earnestly:

"I won't go in today. Take good care of Shoko in the kindergarten, okay?"

After saying that, Shizuka Miyamura glared at Tsuna.

Tsuna was extremely speechless when he heard her say that. He thought that if he were a normal child, he would have been jealous and secretly away from Shoko.

Seeing that Tsuna was slow to respond, Shizuka thought he was jealous and hurriedly said, "If you have any problems in kindergarten, just tell your mom. If nothing else, your mom knows a little bit about fighting."

Tsuna regained his composure and nodded, indicating that he understood. He told her, "Be careful on the road." After that, he took Shoko's hand and walked into the kindergarten. They greeted Teacher Ageo and Teacher Yoshinaga before heading towards the Sakura class.

The two walked into the Sakura class. Tsuna led Shoko to the seat she had sat in yesterday. After Shoko sat down, he put the thermos cup in his hand into the hole of the table and said to Shoko kindly:

"Shoko, remember to take it out if you are thirsty. I filled it with warm water this morning, not hot."

Shoko saw Tsuna gave her the thermos cup prepared by her aunt, and hurriedly reached in to take it out and handed it to Tsuna, saying in a hurried tone, "I'm not thirsty, Tsuna, you take it."

Tsuna almost didn't understand what Shoko was saying, but he could guess a thing or two from Shoko's behavior. He didn't take the cup, but raised his hand to touch Shoko's head, who was sitting on the chair, and said softly:

"I'm fine, and if you are thirsty, will you tell Teacher Ageo?"

Shoko looked up and saw Tsuna's doting eyes. She wanted to say something, but didn't know what to say. In the end, Tsuna didn't care whether Shoko agreed or not, and said "See you at noon" to Shoko and ran out of the Sakura class.

Shoko looked at Tsuna's back as he left, slowly opened the lid of the water cup in her hand, and took a sip. She felt that the warm water was inexplicably sweet, and after taking a second sip, she felt that the sip was not as sweet as before.

After Tsuna ran out of the door of the Sakura class, he slowly walked towards the Sunflower class. After entering the Sunflower class, Tsuna first looked at his seat yesterday and then walked forward after finding that no one was sitting there.

Tsuna walked to the table and first checked that there were no other people's belongings in the hole of the table before stuffing his lunch box and the yellow hat on his head into it.

Tsuna sat on the chair and began to slowly look around. Three or four of them were lying on the table and taking a nap, and the rest were either in a daze or playing in the open space behind the classroom.

Retracting his gaze, Tsuna also planned to take a nap. Just as he lay on the table, he heard the voices of several little boys not far behind him:

"What does yours taste like?"

Tsuna raised his head and looked back at the voice, thinking that they were eating something, and saw a scene that shocked his three views.

The little boy with the mushroom head put his finger into his nostril and dug around. He took out some snacks and put them into his mouth to taste them carefully. Then he said to the little boy with the crew cut next to him:

"Hmm... salty..."

"Really? Mine is sweet. Do you want to try it? I'm not lying to you." After saying that, the little boy with the crew cut raised his hand and stretched out his index finger to insert it into his nostril to take out some snacks. He held it to the mouth of the little boy with the mushroom head.

Tsuna thought that the little boy with the mushroom head would refuse, but he didn't expect that he would open his mouth and hold the little boy's finger. When he let go, it brought out a thin thread of saliva.

Tsuna watched the little boy with the mushroom head swallow it, and angrily retorted to the little boy with the crew cut: "You are lying! Yours is not sweet at all, and it's not as delicious as mine."

The little boy with the crew cut was angry and wanted to refute something immediately, but he noticed Tsuna's gaze, turned his head and said to Tsuna angrily: "What are you looking at! I'm not giving it to you!"
