Noah felt a bit disappointed after learning that Matthew didn't bring the news he genuinely wanted to hear.
Regardless, his trusted assistant stood beside him and continued to make some progress.
He felt at ease.
"Matthew, I'm pleased you're here. But get some rest. You can stop by tomorrow morning instead."
Matthew turned to look at him and returned his smile with a light chuckle.
"Sir, I need to stand beside you for this. So much is happening, and I must lead the team to pursue the true enemy lurking around you behind the shadow."
Noah's expression gradually lost its ease.
"Matthew, is there someone you suspect?"
"No! And that's what bothers me, Sir. We can't predict what will happen to you, so preparing certain measures is hard. Nevertheless, we prepare to expect the unexpected, Sir, to ensure your safety beforehand. We rely on our quick response team for that."
Noah sighed quietly upon hearing his response.
