"The reporter doesn't seem to know about Miss Diaz's imprisonment back then. He only knows her name and thinks it's just some gossip about you, Master Jeffrey," Finn said.
Jeffrey's voice was cold. "Keep questioning him. Find out everything before letting him go. And if he says he saw it online, then find out who posted it and who saw it!"
"I understand," Finn replied.
When Jeffrey pushed open the hospital room door again, he saw Rachel eating porridge on the bed.
Could the reporter's appearance be a coincidence? Was it just a chance encounter last night, or was there something more?
Rachel looked up and saw Jeffrey with a stern expression, an aura of menace faintly surrounding him. She was momentarily stunned, staring at him in surprise.
In an instant, the menace disappeared, replaced by a gentle smile on Jeffrey's handsome face, just like usual.
"What's wrong, Rachel? Why are you looking at me like that?" he asked.
She shook her head with some difficulty. "Nothing."
